Chapter 31 FBI Agent Edwin Storm was on his way back to his car when he heard a loud horrible screaming coming from the old city bridge close by. Agent Storm quickly broke into a full run to get to the bridge only to see a hurt Timmy Winters and the dead body of the man he believed was the God’s will killer with a knife in the back of his neck. Edwin recognize the switchblade knife as one of the weapons Cory Potts used to defend herself with in Lynn, New York against the Grey family. “my girlfriend fell into the water” yelled a stressed Timmy. “please save her” Edwin quickly climbs over the bridge railings and had second thoughts. It looked to be a very long drop and if he hit the water the wrong way it could end up killing him, but Edwin kind of felted obligated to jump at this time. The drop was great and the water felt cold as ice. Edwin found himself being overtaken by the powerful current of the river at first. He just ride it for several minutes till he reached a point in the river that seem calm. That when Edwin see Cory Potts face down in the river and he swims over to her quick as possible. Edwin grabs a hold on Cory’s lifeless body and drags it over to the shore. On the shore is when Edwin noticed all the long deep cut wounds on the girl’s forearms and on her inner thighs and the three stab wounds on her stomach and he question if he would be able to save the teen girl’s life and another half of him ask if he should as he starts performing CPR on her. Timmy waited patiently on the old city bridge for what felt like forever. The last thing Timmy could recall was the FBI Agent Storm jumped into the raging river after Cory but the powerful tide of the water pushed the two so far down stream that they was no longer in view. Hours later Agent Edwin approached Timmy empty handed and informed him that the tide was to much for him to save her. Timmy hugged Agent Storm very tightly and broke down in unstoppable tears. Edwin Storm felt this whole mess was like a curse that begin with Jason Grey passing it on to Cory and her transferring it to Timmy. Edwin could tell the teenage boy was never going to be the same again.
