Chapter 12. Timmy and Cory love making session was short lived at first. It seemed that inexperience had gotten the best of Timmy as he climaxed only seconds in and Cory finds herself suddenly reminded that her only other sexual encounter was being forcefully raped by Jason but there was a beauty in this moment she shares with Timmy that seem to take that bad memory away. Afterwards she smoked a cigarette and Timmy drink a soda before they decided to give it another go around with better results. Cory fell a sleep in Timmy’s arms shortly after there second love making session and it gave Timmy time to run the whole Jason Grey thing over and over inside his head. Somethings now begin to make sense to Timmy. He on a number of occasions had see Cory kind of zone out during conversations with him and countless other times talking to other people. Those times Timmy come to believe that Cory was having these private conversations with herself inside her head, but now he found himself asking what if she was talking to a imaginary Jason Grey. Timmy once again had to remind himself that the gas station killer was dead. Timmy remembered once watching a documentary about people who had got kidnapped, they often would forming this psychological bond with there kidnappers but once more he felted like he was beating a dead horse or in this case a dead Jason Grey. Timmy caught himself rubbing his fingers over the wide scar on the back of Cory’s shoulder blade and then over the scars above and below her left eye, these were scars Cory never had till the night she was attacked by Jason Grey. Timmy hated the fact of how one night could changed so many things about the girl he loved and he would never tell Cory this but those scars we’re like Jason Grey branding Cory like she was cattle. Away to remind everyone that Jason Grey was there first, even if it was by force. Timmy realizes at that moment it was dumb for him to get angry over something he had no control over. On a better note Timmy was happy that Cory was finally getting some sleep, he could tell by the bags under her eyes that she didn’t sleep any last night and he guessed that she been up for at least couple days. She looked so peaceful that he dare not wake her from her world of pleasant dreams. Cory woke up to a smiling Timmy looking down at her. “what time is it” ask Cory as she moves into a sitting position and stretches out. “two in the afternoon” said Timmy with a wide grin as he looked at her naked body with fond memories of there early intimacy. Cory didn’t want to sleep in the first place and she almost ask Timmy why he let her sleep so long but she could tell by his tone that he enjoyed the opportunity to play protector for once. She slides over next to him and snuggles into his arms. Cory felted rested and thankful even though her dreams were always the same thing an endless loop of blood, murder, and violence. These weren’t the things that bothered her about sleep, she had grown fond of her nightmares and as sick as it sounds she considers them to be your erotica. The only thing about her sleep state that did scared her was she no longer felt like she was in control. Aunt Meg was a little surprised to come home from work to find her nephew Timmy in a very happy mood. His girlfriend Cory also seem happy but remained mostly quiet sitting on the couch. Meg searches through the refrigerator and cabinets for inspiration of what kind of meal she could cook for her teenage house guests, the more she searched the more the ugly truth rear it’s head. Meg was more of a career woman than a little Suzy homemaker. There was only a half pack of saltines crackers in the cardboard and a jar of olives in the fridge. Meg’s ideal meal was eating take out from the local Chinese restaurant down the street, a long with a bottle of red or sometimes on rare occasions white wine. Guilt set in with the realization that Meg left them this morning with no food in the apartment when she went to work. Meg suddenly had a flashback to last year when she bought a giant fish tank and spend almost a thousand dollars on tropical fish. She was puzzled right away as to why her fish kept dying, she found it to be humorous that she pay a Fortune for fish only to keep forgetting to feed them. Meg found herself laughing out loud at the thought of calling her sister and trying to explain that she starved her nephew to death. “what’s it going to be for dinner this evening” ask Aunt Meg. “Greek or Chinese” “Pizza” said both Timmy and Cory in unison. “Italian it is then” Replied Aunt Meg already make a list inside her head of things she needed to pick up at the local groceries store. Meg stopped Cory at the apartment door just as they all were about to leave for there dinner plans. Meg stared Cory up and down with disapproval of the outfit Cory was going to wear while accompany her and her nephew out. Cory had on the same way to short black mini skirt that she wore the day before and a matching black tank top shirt with a logo of the rock band Godsmack that showed to much skin. “I don’t mean no offense” said Aunt Meg in a serious tone. “but this is a bad neighborhood and may you shouldn’t dress in a way that attracts unwanted attention” “I can handle myself” said Cory feeling defensive. “that outfit is begging to be raped” said Aunt Meg in a outburst that was mainly driven by stress and right away she wish she could go back in time and stop herself. “Aunt Meg” said Timmy loudly not sure how to react to his Aunt’s comments. Cory just stared at Meg for a moment in silence. The remark didn’t bother her in the least but it meant that either Timmy or his Dad Sheriff Winters had told Aunt Meg about what happened to her weeks ago. “sorry about that” said Aunt Meg in a sincere tone. “I been under a lot of stress lately” Cory just nodded her head and understanding. “that gang yesterday seem to have a problem with you” said Timmy sounding a little worried. Cory couldn’t help thinking that Timmy’s remark was a under statement. “there was just trying to scare me” said Aunt Meg trying to play down the event and Timmy seem to buy it. Meg takes the two teenagers a few blocks over to a local mom and papa’s pizza place then afterwards the three decided to take in a movie. The movie theater was only three streets over from Meg’s apartment and besides be a movie theater it also was a large video game arcade. “I haven’t been to an arcade since the early 80’s” said Aunt Meg stepping into the archway leading the two teenagers into the arcade. Meg is amazed at first by all the classic games the place haves like Pac man, Donkey Kong, and even missile command. Cory attention is immediately drawn to a Friday the 13th arcade game to much to see anything else. Both Timmy and Meg at the same time notice the MS-13 gang member that was at the apartment building yesterday forcing the apartment manager to pay protection was now in the arcade playing centipede. The gang member was much like Cory being to occupied with his video game screen to pay any mind to his surroundings. Timmy recognize him as the gang member with the barbed wire Jesus tattoo on his chest. Meg quickly grabs Timmy and they round up Cory who was still focus on the Friday the 13th game. They exit the arcade and go back into the movie theater part of the building. Meg let’s the teen’s pick the movies. The theater only had two large screens in the theater. In one they were showing a double Heath Ledger feature starting with 10 things I hate about you, then finishing up with a knight’s tale. This was the double feature that Timmy voted to watch and he hoped Aunt Meg would vote with him instead she voted with Cory to watch the Horror movie double feature.
