Carnality

Carnality

“Kiss me.”

Beautiful words spoken by a vision of life;

to live is to lust, to lust and hope for love;

a tangled rose blooms in shit, carrying thorns and a heavenly scent.

So too do I see you, my darling.

Climb high, grasp what you will, no man nor their faulty gods will ever bring joy to your life.

Look within as you always have, as you have learned to do;

feed the inner beast of virtue that rages, running rampant through the concrete tombs of dreams long dead.

These dreamers know no life, for they have only met themselves, and now too what was once held dear is but a shell of peace, falling short in the eyes of many.

I will kiss you, if you will take it.

In the entanglement of our humanity, our flesh and bone, the development of a soul finally has a place to take root.

Reject the primal labelling, ignore the slurs of degeneration.

We are we, you and me;

each ourselves, each the other.

In this vision of life I have found you, omnipotent, unreserved, irreverent.

You alone are capable of love.
