PLEASE UPDATE YOUR ADDRESS TO ENSURE BOOK DELIVERY

Hey everyone. A quick update on THE GHOST TRACKS. The release date has been pushed back one week, to October 26th.  A VERY important note. If you ordered a physical book from Inkshares, and have since moved, please update your address on the Inkshares website. Otherwise, your book will be sent to the old address on file.

To update your address, sign into your Inkshares account. Then click the circle icon on upper right corner of the screen. In the dropdown menu, select  "Shipping Address." From there, click the "Change Address" box and input your current one.

Also excited to announce that there will be an audiobook version of THE GHOST TRACKS, produced by Audible Studios. We recently cast the actor who will be narrating the book, and the recording should be completed soon. I’ll be sure to send out an update once the pre-order page is live on Audible.

Thanks again for all of your patience and support!

Hi everyone. Just wanted to give a quick update on THE GHOST TRACKS. We are still on schedule for an October 19th release date. The first copies of the book are currently at the printer now.

I’m also happy to reveal the final cover. Tim Barber at Dissect Designs did a fantastic job creating it, using an idea from Inkshares CEO Adam Gomolin. Couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Celso Hurtado’s THE GHOST TRACKS quickly drew me in with protagonist Erasmo’s Cruz’s relatable interior dialogue and the interesting premise of someone who holds themselves out on Craigslist as a "paranormal consultant." I’m interested in reading more about Erasmo’s adventures and a certain child who is possessed by an evil force.

Hello,

A quick update about The Ghost Tracks. While the original plan for the novel was to release it in the fall of 2020, the COVID19 pandemic has caused some delays.

Inkshares feels the best course of action is to push the release of The Ghost Tracks to the fall of 2021, and I agree with them. In the meantime, the book is available for pre-order at Wal-Mart and Books-A-Million, with more retailers to follow. I also hope to have a finalized cover to share soon.

Thank you for all of your patience and support. I hope that everyone is doing well and staying safe.

All,

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the progress of The Ghost Tracks. I’ve had great conversations with Inkshares in regards to the direction of the book, and have begun working on implementing the discussed revisions. The current plan is to release the book in either May or June of next year. This means that I will have to complete the final draft by November, and will do everything within my power to do so.

Thanks again for your patience and support, and I will be sure to send out another update when I have some new information to report.

Friends, Family, and Supporters,

The contest has come to a close, and I‘m happy to announce that Inkshares will be publishing The Ghost Tracks! I want to thank each of you for supporting me throughout this process. It has been a truly rewarding experience, which has allowed me to both reconnect with old friends and make new ones. I will never forget the outpouring of support I have received the last few months.

For those who I talk to often, thank you for being there. For those who reached out and bought a book even though we may not have seen each other in many years, thank you for still caring enough to support me.  And to my family, thank you for being the first ones to step up and for advocating on my behalf.

There were many excellent books entered in both the Horror and Mystery/Thriller competitions. It is my great hope that they are published soon, because they surely deserve to be.

Also, a big congratulations to Patrick Delaney and Michael Saltenberger, fellow horror authors who are also going to be published. Please check out their awesome books, The House that fell from the Sky and Blind.

Even though the contest is now over, there is still much work to be done. In order to get the book into the best shape possible, additional re-writes and editing will have to take place. But I will definitely keep everyone up to date as the book proceeds towards publication. Thank you again for your support and for being a part of this experience with me.

Celso

Everyone,

First, I want to thank each of you for the support you’ve shown me and THE GHOST TRACKS so far. I can’t overstate how much your support has meant.

We are now two weeks into the contest, and things are progressing, but there is still a long way to go. With that in mind, I have a request. I am asking each of you who have supported me so far to please email, text, or send a Facebook message to at least one person you know who might be interested in pre-ordering THE GHOST TRACKS. Any additional readers you would be able to bring in would be hugely important in reaching my goal.

I recently received a question about how the contest is measured, so I’ll clarify. Each author is ranked based on the number of readers they have, not books. So it is better to have three individuals buy one book each, than for one reader to buy three books. Hope that explains it a little better.

Thank you again for your continued support of this project, and I will keep you updated as the contest progresses. I am truly grateful for each of you.
