Bridget saw her mobile phone and noticed the time was 11.45pm. She told Andrea, "We need to go now. It's late." Andrea complied with Bridget's requests. But before they could leave, Bridget needed to go to the toilet. "I'll be right back."
Andrea was waiting patiently for Bridget in a corner. Suddenly, a mysterious man came and stood right next to her. She noticed the man was extremely handsome. He had black hair and a fair complexion. He was with auburn eyes and had shiny white teeth.
"Ryan," said the guy with his charming voice.
"Andrea," she replied with a sweet voice.
"You know the weirdest thing just happened to me," said Ryan, "I have someone else's phone with me right now."
"Really?" said Andrea. That's the dumbest pick-up line I've ever heard.
"Who's is it?" she asked after a brief pause.
"I don't know," he said, "Why don't you have a look at it?" He fished the phone out of his pocket.
"That's mine," said Bridget with the weirdest suspicion, "How the hell do you have my phone?"
"Why don't you check your pocket and see who's phone you're having?" asked Ryan, "If you don't believe me."
Andrea fished out the phone out of her pocket. She was shocked to realize that it wasn't her own phone at all. Ryan remarked, "That's mine." Andrea gave the phone back to Ryan while taking her own phone from him.
"I'm sorry for the misunderstanding," said Andrea as she left the place amicably.
The man smiled to himself. It's complete. Satisfied, he left with a happy grin on his face.

"You know Bridget," said Andrea as she left the place, "I met this weird guy while you were in the toilet just now."
"Really? Was his name Marty?" asked Bridget with a chuckle.
"No, it was Ryan. But he was weird," said Andrea.
"How weird?"
"95% weird," said Andrea as she narrated the entire experience she just had to her friend.
"Come on Andrea," said Bridget, "That guy was probably just fooling around with you."
"But how did he even get hold of my phone? Doesn't that sound creepy?" asked Andrea.
"Come on Andrea," said Bridget, "He's not a time-traveller if that's what you're thinking. Can we stop thinking about it now?"
Andrea decided to not pursue the matter further. She took out her phone and stared at it. Ryan could be a magician desperate for attention, she thought. At least, he didn't kill me or kidnap me.

Andrea stepped into her apartment. It seemed so quiet. She loved living like this, except for the occasional threat of a serial killer hunting her down. Only this time, she felt chills running down her spine. The guy whom she met earlier was quite mysterious. She still couldn't understand how he had her phone without her knowing it.
As she flopped onto the sofa, Andrea had the sudden urge to touch her cell phone. She unlocked her phone, and everything seemed to be normal. But then she noticed that she had an extra app on her phone. It was mysteriously titled "PTF". I've never seen an app like this before. She searched the app on the App Store, but the search did not land anything.
Perhaps I should try opening the app, she thought. Andrea's curiosity get the better of her as she opened the application. The screen turned black. Andrea was alarmed. A face suddenly appeared on the phone. She screamed and pressed the home button of her iPhone to exit the app, but it was not working.
Suddenly, her cell phone emitted a blue flash of light that blinded her eyes. "My eyes!" yelled Andrea. The light suddenly changed to a spectrum of green, blue and yellow- it was so bright that Andrea collapsed on the floor.
Andrea saw that the flash of light was turning into a time portal. What I dreamt about is coming true, she thought. She tried to run away, but she had no strength to do so. She was sucked into the time portal with such great force that was equivalent to 9000 gigantic ships.
"Oh no!!!!!" she yelled as she was sucked into the time portal.

Andrea awoke in her apartment, confused. Everything in her apartment seemed different. All of her furniture was gone and instead, her living room was filled with second-rate furnishings. Before even she could think of anything else, a Hispanic woman in her early 40s suddenly entered the room.
"¿Quién eres? Voy a llamar a la policía," said the woman in Spanish.
"I live here," said Andrea, "It's my apartment."
"What are you talking about?" said the woman with a Spanish accent, "I've been living here for the past 16 years."
"But I'm living here. I just came back yesterday night with all my stuff."
"Yesterday night? Why, yesterday night nobody came to my house!" retorted the woman.
"I'm Andrea Walker and I'm the legal resident of this house!" retorted Andrea.
"Get out! I've had enough of your bull crap," said the woman, "If you don't leave, I'm calling the police." She took a pillow and threw it at Andrea. Andrea quickly fled the house, thinking how someone had taken over it in just one night.
She ran out of the apartment building and into the path of an incoming car. Luckily, the car managed to stop in time. The car driver got out of the car and started yelling at Andrea.
"Bridget, there you are!" asked Andrea.
"How the hell do you know my name?" retorted Bridget.
"I'm Andrea. How could you forget me?" asked Andrea.
"I don't know anyone named Andrea," said Bridget, "Now, could you please get out of my way? I'm late for class!"
"But Bridget, it's me!" said Andrea again with a sad voice.
Bridget stopped her car right in front of Andrea and said, "I don't know whether you are a psycho or whatever, but I have no idea who you are. So stop saying that you know me. Otherwise, I'm calling the police!" She drove off.
Andrea was shocked. She yelled, "Bridget... Bridget!" but Bridget drove off. Andrea was forced to walk away, sadly.
Andrea took out the mobile phone that brought her here. She immediately punched in her mother's number. Mom would understand what's happening, she thought.
"Hello Mom," said Andrea as her mother picked up the phone.
"Who's this?" said Andrea's mother.
"Mom, it's me. Your daughter, Andrea," said Andrea, confused.
"I don't have any daughter named Andrea," said the lady on the other end.
"But mom," said Andrea, "I'm really your daughter."
"I think you've called the wrong number," said the lady, "I don't have any child named Andrea."
Before even Andrea could say anything, her mother cut the call.
How could this be? She wondered. I go asleep for one night and now no one knows who I am. Did I travel into an alternate dimension? Andrea walked away sadly.
She looked at her phone again. It displayed 31 October 2015, 08:42 AM. Everything seemed to be normal until she noticed a newspaper stand by the side of the road. Let's just check the date with him.
"Excuse me," said Andrea in her sweetest voice, "Today's the 31st of October right?"
"Dear me lady," said the newspaper vendor in a weird accent, "Are you lost or sumthing?"
"What do you mean?" asked Andrea.
"That day was two weeks ago. Today's the 10th of November."
Andrea bit her lip. She ran away before the man could even say another word. How could 14 precious days slip away just like that? Why doesn't anyone even know me?
Then it got to her.
She had traveled into the future.
