"I knew that the three of you would screw up at this point," said Ryan, "Those in the past should just stay in the past."

Ryan shot at them but the trio jumped into different directions.

"Duck, run and avoid!" yelled Bill, "We have to stall him."

As the room was quite large, the three of them had ample space to run about. Two soldiers cornered Dr Khan but he shot them down with the laser gun he had. Andrea, on the other hand, had to deal with a number of guards, who were trying their best to kill her. With just one flying kick, the guards flew and crashed against the wall.

The angered Ryan shot Andrea but she quickly jumped into the other direction. Ryan continued shooting the laser gun but surprisingly, Andrea ran and avoided all of it. At last, she reached the master time machine, and entered it without a hitch.

Dr Khan, who had his hands full with fighting the guards, managed to fight them all, and ran as fast as he could into the time machine that Andrea was in. "Where's Bill?" asked Andrea.

Alas, as Bill was to enter the machine, he felt a painful sensation in his back. He yelled in pain as he felt the laser bullet from Ryan enter his back. He collapsed on the floor in pain as his entire operating system ceased to function.

"BILL!" yelled the devastated Andrea.

"Andrea, come on!" said Dr Khan, "We can wallow about Bill later. We need to get out of here now."

The devastated Andrea told Dr Khan the date as they set off for the correct past- in which Andrea still existed. Ryan was running closer and closer to them.

"ANDREA!" yelled Dr Khan, "PRESS THAT BUTTON!"

Just as Ryan was less than a millimetre away from them, Andrea pressed the button and the time machine disappeared with a blinding flash of blue and green light. Ryan swore in anger.

"Hunt!" yelled Ryan as he darted back to his superior's office, "Find out where those two went! I'm going to make sure they never existed in the first place there! Those fuzzers!"

Ryan sprinted to his superior's office, which had a machine just like his. He climbed into the machine while cursing to himself. His whole existence as a Tifian would be gone if the Board knew about his actions. He had let a potential threat get away.

"That's not going to happen again," he vowed, "I've got to finish her."

Immediately after, Hunt arrived and told him the date in which they had travelled to. It was October 30 2015, and it was Universe No. 10232- the universe in which Andrea originated from. Without hesitating, Ryan keyed in the date and Universe combination. As soon as he did, the machine set off a hundred years into his past, and Andrea's present.

October 30 2015, 6:44PM

The machine arrived with a flash. Andrea and Dr Khan both stepped out of the machine as quick as they could and sprinted to the convention center.

"You okay Andrea?" asked the breathless Dr Khan. She nodded reluctantly.

""I'm really sorry for what happened to Bill," said Dr Khan.

"Don't be," said Andrea, "It's not your fault."

"Remember that Bill would never have met us if this was successful," said Dr Khan, "It would undo every single thing that happened in 2115, probably."

Andrea's sadness began to subside with Dr Khan's words.

"Everything's going to be okay," said Dr Khan, "Just treat this as a lesson not to get emotionally attached for someone."

Andrea nodded and looked up.

The two of them had arrived in front of the convention center, the same place which housed the infamous science fiction gala that changed Andrea's life forever. With Dr Khan's words, Andrea felt more determined to get this over and done with. Time to restore my future.

The two of them chose to enter through the service entrance quietly as Dr Khan was perfectly sure that Ryan would use the main entrance and disguise himself as a 2015 person. They quietly slipped behind one of the exhibits, waiting for them to enter the exhibit. Andrea looked at her watch; 7:08PM. We're going to arrive in two minutes, she thought.

Indeed she was right, because as soon as the watch struck 7:10PM, two figures walked into the room. It was Andrea Walker and her best friend, Bridget Jones.

"Your friend Bridget does look pretty," said Dr Khan. Andrea however, did not find his joke funny.

Andrea noticed that she and Bridget looked so happy when they walked into the Fan-Con. I wish I could tell them what's bound to happen, thought Andrea. But I can't do so because it's going to mess up the whole timeline.

And at that moment an idea popped up in her head.

"Dr Khan, I think I know how to stop this," said the excited girl. She related her plan to the scientist, who listened eagerly. He agreed to her plan, but said, "We have to execute it perfectly."

Bridget and Andrea, on the other hand, walked past the place where Andrea and Dr Khan were hiding. Dr Khan could hear their conversation very clearly.

"Watch out for Doc and Marty!" said Bridget with a laugh.

"Hi there Miss," said Dr Khan, "I need your help."

Andrea turned back and stared at him.

"Can I help you?" asked the girl.

"My car needs some help outside, but no one's willing to help me."

"How do I know that you're not some guy dressed to the nines just to rape me?" asked Andrea.

"I'm not," said Dr Khan, "You have to trust me."

Andrea was reluctant to go, despite Dr Khan begging her.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the room, Andrea approached Bridget, who was busy talking to someone.

"Bridget," said Andrea, "I'm not feeling well. I think we need to go home."

"What are you talking about Andrea? We just got here!"

"Yeah, but I don't know why I feel as if something's going to happen to me," she replied.

"But what about your lifelong dream to see the FanCon?"

"Screw that dream," said Andrea, "I guess some things are not meant to be."

It's much easier to convince Bridget than to convince myself, thought Andrea as the two of them quickly exited the building through the front door. She made sure that the two of them would be unseen by Ryan if he arrived. Wonder how Dr Khan's doing?

It was tough, but Dr Gabriel Khan managed to convince "Andrea", who had no idea of who he was, to leave the party with him. As they were just about to leave, there was a loud crash on the roof of the building. The people at the FanCon screamed and ran into different directions as the crash occurred again, this time even louder.

The roof finally gave way and collapsed all the way to the ground floor as the lights crashed onto the ground. Dr Khan noticed that it was Ryan's time machine that had crashed onto the roof.

"Andrea," said Dr Khan with full of urgency, "We have to get out of here now."

Dr Khan's alarming voice made Andrea scared. She followed this "unknown" man out of the building without Ryan noticing them. Ryan got out of his time machine and searched the now-empty building for Andrea and Dr Khan, but they were not there. He was angered.

"I have to find me," said Ryan with a chuckle, "Together, we can kill these fuzzers!"
