Hey this book may be of interest to the members here https://www.inkshares.com/books/a-cold-day-to-drown

I guess I am confused how this works. I have been charged $20, we have not backed a book a month for a year, so where is this money going? I don’t see them in my credits.  I have charges for Jan, Mar, April. But no books have been backed in that time. So I don’t understand where that $60 went to?

True, True on both counts! I’m sure @Gary Whitta has his hands full. I have a 3 and a 6 year old, and sadly it hasn’t gotten much easier! I’ll be seeing it next week.

My guess is @Gary Whitta hasn’t had much time to think about December’s pick with the amazing success of Rogue One. I finally get to go see it this week (toddlers make going to the movies hard)!

Anything happening for December? I have noticed there are large gaps in selections, sometimes a few months. What is happening with our funds? Are they being pooled into the next selection, whenever that may be? Happy to support the syndicate, but would love to know...

Hi all,
Going by the discussion in the syndicate forum here, I’m guessing books are being selected by @Gary Whitta (as opposed to group vote as per some of the other syndicates).

Gary — do you accept nominations? If so, I would shamelessly like to put forward my sci-fi Human Resources, which is competing in The Launchpad Competition: https://www.inkshares.com/books/human-resources

Hiya, everyone. New aspiring writer here. As you can see, one of my works Thaumaturgic is currently in its funding, and I’m going to need all the help I can get in order for it to reach its 250 to 750 pre-order goal. Here’s the link to the story, in case if needed- https://www.inkshares.com/books/thaumaturgic

Also, more than willing to support other people’s works here, too.

Thank you so much for having me here.

Any updates? No new picks? Wasn’t one in May. I’m curious as to what is happening to these credits then.

So no picks for August or September?

Had a question. How far along in the writing process of a novel until it is a good time to start with pre-sales? Thanks everyone.

Just joined. Howdy to you all.

What are the nominations for August? I haven’t seen any updates yet.

What are the suggestions for July?

Can anyone give me some pointers on getting my book in front of people? I have a few followers but I’m not sure how to convert them to pre orders.

Hey, everyone, I decided to join a couple of syndicates to help support my fellow Inkshares authors. I’m happy to be a part of a syndicate that supports sci-fi and fantasy authors in particular!

Hey @Gary what are your thoughts for this syndicate? Do you have any current books in mind? Are you taking votes/suggestions? What’s your plan?
Billy O’Keefe · Author · added about 8 years ago
I would like to know the process as well ... and, if we’re making suggestions, throw out a nudge for Peter Ryan’s Sync City. I won’t get into why in case this is against procedure -- I’ll save that for later when discussions are happening.

So what’s the first pick? Do we get to make suggestions? Is there a theme or some other focus each month to help focus our selections?
Paul Austin · Reader · added about 8 years ago
Just joined this, but I don’t see a place to put in my address for the physical books to be shipped to.
