Portia Sampson liked an update for Cape’s Side Bay

Hello Cape’s Side Bayers!

Here we go! Officially 2 weeks left in the campaign!

It’s been a long 5 months and somewhat bitter sweet that the end of pre-orders is fast approaching.

We have just under 50 orders to go, ideally I’d love to hit that before the 2 weeks are up (this way I can take a much needed nap sooner!), but, you guys have been unbelievably supportive and somehow become more so with each passing day. I cannot thank you enough for the recommendations, the reviews, the prologue recommendations, and of course the orders.

If you haven’t ordered a copy, and want to, you can click on this link here:  https://www.inkshares.com/books/cape-s-side-bay

:)

Today, with 2 weeks left, I’ll share the water colour painting my friend did for Cape’s Side Bay back in March (it was later used by fellow Inkshares author Tabi Card in the cover art you see on the page).

Hope you enjoy it and the rest of your weekend!

All the best,

James

I binged watched all of Stranger Tales on Netflix and this looks like it could filled the void!

Time for this week’s spotlight update!
This week I’d like to direct your attention to Proxy, by Rebekka S. Leber:

Proxy serves up a complex, thoroughly fleshed-out urban fantasy world with a tone that manages to be both whimsically magical and irreverently sardonic. We’re given a deliciously flawed protagonist, whose superhuman destiny is offset by her extremely human weaknesses. Max Lucas promises to be a new icon in the tradition of hard-bitten reluctant heroines.

If you liked Jessica Jones (and if you didn’t, you must not have seen it yet), Proxy is right down your alley. I can’t wait to see how this train wreck of an antihero chooses to use her powers when she becomes the last hope of a world that’s done nothing for her.

Mr. Rasile has presented us with one of the greatest sci-fi thriller premises on all of Inkshares. The question is not "should I support this novel?" The real question is: why haven't you ordered already?Make this happen, everyone! (And once you do, I want a part as an expendable extra when Mr. Rasile inevitably turns it into a film...)
