P.J.Marshman sent an update for Tainted

Hi everyone!

I know things have been rather quiet since Halloween, but I assure you that this is merely the calm before the storm.  Things are going to pick up very soon.  To pass the time, I’ve posted my latest blog at www.pjmarshman.wordpress.com.  Stop on by and check out what I’ve been up to!  And, if you haven’t already, take a moment to peruse the archives.  It details my process, or rather the adventure I began the moment I announced that I had written a novel.  Let me know what you think, I’m always looking for feedback!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and I’ll update again as soon as I can!

    Hi everyone!

I wanted to take a moment and fill you in on what has been happening since Halloween.  As the clock stuck five here in California and the contest came to a close, I did in fact breath a heavy sigh of relief.  The contest had been stressful, to say the least.  And, how couldn’t I be stressed out?  There were some great books nipping at my heels!

Well, after the clock stuck five, I took my son trick or treating and then went to work.  The next morning I received a couple packets of paperwork from Inkshares.  The end and the beginning, if you will, to my ongoing adventure.  The packets were intense, and definitely forced me to really think about how and were this book should and will be sold.  As I tirelessly filled out the paperwork, going over every detail a dozen times or more, I realized that this was the first step to becoming a real bonafide author.

    Wow, just wow...

Anyways, before I get all gushy, let me continue.  I have since turned in all of the paperwork, along with my manuscript and spec script!  Exciting, I know!  Everyone at Inkshares has been great and I look forward to working with them through the process ahead!

So, where do we stand now?  Well, now begins the long wait as everything works behind the scenes... in the shadows (ooh, spooky).  The book is still on pre-sale, so continue to spread the word!  If you haven’t already, you can follow the adventure from the beginning at www.pjmarshman.wordpress.com.   I will have a new entry by this weekend going more in depth about what’s been going on.  Join the fun!

Thank you all for joining me on this adventure.  I am truly excited, and I look forward to taking this project as far as I can!

Surviving abuse leaves no soul unscathed, and this is especially true of Ptielieren, an elite elvish bodyguard involuntarily integrated into an aversive-heavy culture. Strength can exist absent a ringing victory and weakness does not signify defeat.
