Mike X Welch liked an update for The Sleeping Man

My Dearest Reader,

I hope this update finds you well, though I fear many fortnights has passed since my last missive. Life’s changes hath found their way throughout my circumstance as I am no longer in the Naval Forces of these United States. Assuredly, the change was most good for I am working privately in a sector. The work continues, however, and I have been working on another piece of fiction related to and pertaining the first. This work is in its nascent stages, and shall not be available for many months, yet I wanted to make this information available to you. If one is a super reader, I shall give thee access to the draft so you can watch me write it, which promises to be as exciting as to watch the liquid dye on the wall dry.

Lastly, it would be most appreciated if thee were to go on to the site of webs known as Amazon to give me a review of the The Sleeping Man so that my ego can grow to immeasurable size.

Sweeteth Dreams,

Stephen Carignan

Post Script, the new work is under:

Post Post Script: Why come there’s never a Pre-Script? Like, let me know what I’m getting into before I gotta be reading all this.

Mike X Welch liked an update for Grimalkin

After much agonizing, Grimalkin is now live in the 2018 Inkshares Horror Contest. A big thank you to anyone who has already supported my novel in progress (part of a planned trilogy.) I love these characters, including many you haven’t met yet and some you don’t yet know as well as you hopefully will someday, and I’m excited about the story. I hope the feeling’s mutual. If so, please hope me share these characters and their stories with the world. Wow, that’s really sappy. There’s also more death and mayhem in store, too!

Mike X Welch sent an update for The New Economy

Dear followers of The New Economy -

I’ve asked Inkshares to revert The New Economy to ’Draft’ status. This will have the dual effect of refunding the $ of anyone who was kind enough to pre-order a copy, and it will also allow the book to remain in the 2018 Inkshares Horror Contest.  My hope is that the project might be picked up for publication by Inkshares, but at the very least, I did not want to tie up anyone’s $ on something that was clearly not going to win/place in this contest.

I would ask, in lieu of supporting The New Economy, whose day will surely come later, that you support two other projects close to my heart:

One is Grimalkin, written by my wife, Alexandra Welch and also in the running in the 2018 Inkshares Horror Contest. It has already sold 7 copies in its first 5 hours of life, and we’re hoping for a solid 2nd or 3rd place finish in the contest.

Two is Ruining Boise, written by myself and Dean Fearce, which is in possession of 4th place in the 2018 Inkshares Mystery/Thriller Contest. We hope to move up to 2nd or 3rd place and move another 200+ copies of the book.

Thank you for your support, in any case!
