I like such literature which motivates me to gain new goals. In the fullness of time, this book has helped me to change some things in my life. Actually, all literature has some power to affect people’s minds. I’ve done an investigation for my college and I’ve used a lot of resources, e.g. https://samploon.com/free-essays/literature/ to gather people’s opinions on the necessity of books in general. I can say that this resource with free essays has helped me a lot as it contains a lot of thoughts to read and understand. I think that this book should be on the must-read list of everyone.
Earlier today you should have received an email with a link to download the ebook of WHEN FORCE MEETS FATE. For those who downloaded it already, that version of the ebook was a slightly older version and was missing a few things. We have now uploaded the latest version and you can use the same link to download it. You can also go to the Inkshares site directly, login to your account, and download it there. The difference between the two versions is relatively small, but I would encourage you to download the current version.
Many of you have also received your print copies, and I so hope you enjoy them. I put a lot into this book; it’s really incredible to see it in the hands of so many people. If you have any trouble downloading the ebook or getting your print copy, please reach out to me or Inkshares.
A very powerful memoir about a young man’s dramatic transformation after a fiery car accident and chronic disease. Jamison Hill was a bodybuilder and fitness model whose life changed dramatically that he was not longer able to walk. (He even had to write the entire book on his iPhone since his illness and disabilities prevented him from using a tablet or laptop.) The book wrestled with difficult questions like, "Am I the same person after my body has completely changed?" I appreciated the cut-to-the-bone blunt descriptions. Overall, I found this to be an authentic narrative about what it’s like to live with trauma and flashbacks.
We are just about a month away from the publication of When Force Meets Fate. I’m happy to report that everything is moving along smoothly. We have sent off advanced copies to reviewers, and the book already has almost 50 reviews on Goodreads with an average of 4.85 stars: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/55659364-when-force-meets-fate
In a couple weeks, shortly after the holidays, you too will get your copy of the book. Because you were among the first to preorder it, we are going to send your copy out before the official release date of January 26th. So you should get your copy a week or two before that. For that reason, it is important that you make sure the address on your Inkshares account is accurate. If you’ve moved in the last year or your address is incorrect, here are the steps to change it:
More good news: We are finishing up the audiobook now, which should be available for preorder in early January.
Lastly, I just want to say that I will always be grateful to you for ordering the book before it was finished, for trusting that it would one day become a tangible thing.
I am going to add everyone who preordered the book on Inkshares to my email list, so you will receive a welcome message soon. If you wish not to receive my emails, feel free to unsubscribe, but you may want to stay subscribed for future updates on the book and my recovery.
I hope you are all doing well. I just want to give a quick update on my memoir, When Force Meets Fate. It will be published in January, and you may have noticed that it now has a beautiful new cover. We’ve also added a foreword by my friend, Stephanie Land, who wrote a New York Times bestseller.
In the next six weeks or so, we should have the audiobook available for preorder, which will be released in January along with the print book.
Hi! It’s coming out January 26th. That’s when the print copies will be shipped and/or you’ll be able to download the ebook. I’ll post a full update soon. We should have the audiobook available too.
I hope this message finds you safe and as healthy as possible given the circumstances. A lot has happened since I last updated you on my memoir, When Force Meets Fate.
I am so grateful that you ordered the book and I’ve been meaning to reach out sooner but COVID started and flipped everything upside down. The good news is that, while the pandemic has unavoidably delayed the release of my memoir, it’s still going to happen. Right now we are shooting for a January release. It’s later than I had hoped, but with everything going on in the world right now, I think it’s for the best. My hope is that by January COVID will have calmed down and there will be better opportunities to promote the book.
Right now we are waiting for the manuscript to be copyedited, then we will wrap it up and do another round of promotion before releasing the book. I’m also trying to figure out how to do an audiobook, which will likely be a challenge considering speaking is painful for me. But hopefully we can find a good narrator and get it listed on Audible and other audiobook platforms.
That’s all I have for now, but rest assured we are working hard to get the book to you. I will update you on any new developments. Thank you again for ordering the book. I’m excited for you to read it.
