It’s been a difficult two years for me March 7, 2019 I was in a car accident. While I was not seriously injured I still had a long recovery.
Then we all know what happened this year. Covid 19 eh.
So while I was recovering I didn’t rewrite or create anything new. Say what? I know but as my recovery ended another thing hit on top of Covid, my mother had a stroke and a few months later I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. It has been difficult to adjust to all these happening at the same time.
The last two months I have been trying to finish the last three stories for "Tales from Mist Lake"
Hopefully soon I will start to promote for reorders again or self publish by other means. I haven’t fully decided. We shall see. Wish me luck and hopefully it won’t be almost two years for another update.
I wasn’t expecting another contest. I know I said that the last attempt was the last one, but how can I pass up the opportunity to have a chance to win or get noticed. If you haven’t heard Inkshares has a new horror contest for publication.

Letting you know this is for paperback not hardcover. It was changed last time, but it still says hardcover. Very confusing I know.
This will be the only promotion happening this year unless a contest starts that fits one of my other books.
I know what you are thinking. Why are you not hearing from me? Well it has been a difficult month. I got sick again had a little health scare. I’ve had to reorganize several things in my life. It has been difficult, but the main thing was putting off some promotion for a short time.
Things have been well for activity for bringing people to the page for "Vast Land" as of this post only one order has been placed. I still have hope.

Vast Land is stand alone novel based off the events that happen from a series of short stories. "Tales From Mist Lake" after a darkness is released into our world. Brent soon learns he has a role to play. Facing off with Mr. Scratch.

Sorry for no updates. For the last month I have been sick from various issues. I have decided to start a new campaign. "Vast Land" 100 day campaign.
Brent’ life is changed, just as he comes out of his shell, becoming the new lead for Jin‘s band. His dreams of finally having a life are coming true. Brett is haunted with visions of bodies that are soon found torn to pieces. Brent soon learns a secret that sends his life to another world that he never imagined to be real.

I’ve always been afraid of what others would say. I know by releasing these thirteen stories I will take the next step needed to become a better writer. What I need most is feedback. Suffering from dyslexia I have trouble structuring stories properly, and choosing the correct subtext or word choice. I hope to release a full novel set in Red Bear, TX that is a sequel of ’Tales from Mist Lake’ This would be a full novel suffering the effects of these short stories. "Vast Land"

You’re probably wondering why I have not updated recently. I want to tell you now that I had to set aside a few priorities, in order to see how my friends and family were doing around the Houston area.
That along with other recent things happening with multiple hurricanes and the recent earthquake have left me startled. I know that many of you have friends and families in these areas. Please understand why I have decided to take a small break from pushing this book out.
Now that is almost the end I will try and push forward and getting more orders out. This will be the last time of the year that I choose to try and publish these select short stories. I hope many of you can understand my choice.
I have also been trying to get another audio reading out, but I have failed to find the perfect reader for the job. If it was a male voice I would do it myself, but I need a female voice. I will spend the rest of the week trying to find one, for the short story mirror house. If I do not find one, I will find a male or read another story.
