A Snippet from Chapter 9

The octa-beetles were still highly agitated.  I suppose I’d be pissed off too if someone just shot off my dangly parts.  Sebastian eyed them cautiously and decided he would feel better with a little extra buffer space.  He reengaged his magnetic boots and picked up Buttercup in both arms.  Clumping slowly he continued moving down the hull.  Deciding he had gone far enough he set Buttercup down and clipped the safety cable to a hull rung.
