Picture Andrew Littler sent an update for Tales of Lorcastle

Hey! I know I have not updated my Inkshares account much - I never expected to win the publication contest, but I figured it was worth a shit.

What I can definitely say is that I was not expecting to finish the (first draft of) the project only a month after the Geek and Sundry contest ended - but I did!  It’s finished, I actually finished this thing, and I can finally describe the book in less than 2.5 hours with a 15 minute coffee break.

I even have a premise for the next book in the "series," but I have a few ideas to get through before I continue this one.  I am going to start editing and proofreading this thing in a few weeks, I want to give myself a bit of a break first, and to get my head out of this imaginary world I made for a while.

I was not entirely sure how this thing would work out, and I apologize if I promised that you would get your money back, but it also means that my campaign did not close when the publication contest did.  So while this did not win, I can still ask for help! Everyone loves helping people, right?

When I finish my first few reads and edits and things I am going to update everything and, if you want, I can send you a copy of the draft.  I think I promised someone a draft if they wanted it.  It’s something, I guess.

Thank you for your support, and now that this thing is "finished," I can go back into begging people for money - yay! This is very exciting, I am very excited! It is not that I did not expect to ever finish this thing, but I did not expect so much of the ending to hammer me in the face so quickly.
