Joshua L. Covarrubio sent an update for Enter The Phoenix

So the Nerdist contest is over. Like many I waited to see if they would add any other books to be published. No word on what they are looking for or how they are choosing books if any.

Still the pre-orders go on. Just over 40 days left to order. If it has not hit it’s goal, it will sit back for a while. Allowing me to set up  "Tales From Mist Lake" for a paper back option then I will start preorders around September or October.

When that is over I will try to set up pre-orders again for Enter The Phoenix

Thank you again for following along with me on the journey. It has been a crazy road. I was surprised to even finish in the top 35 out of 183 entries. Still amazing considering how many great authors stories were out competing for the same three or more spots.

Joshua L. Covarrubio liked an update for Proteus

This will be the last update I post before the contest ends.

Proteus remains in fourth place. We’ve been absolutely tenacious in keeping up with the top three. We’ve more than doubled our overall orders over the course of this week, and I have it on good authority that we’ve scared the pants off the competition. We are the charging bull. They are fleeing us.

They’re still probably going to win, but at least we’ve given them a really, really good chase.

It’s not impossible to win from where we stand. The last day of my Tantalus Depths campaign I brought in something like 80 pre-orders, so I know that’s a thing that can happen. But I’m also not going to sweat it if we don’t. The top three books have earned their spots, and I won’t be sorry to see any of them win. In any case, I’m already looking forward past the end of this contest. I didn’t get as far as I’ve gotten by not thinking several steps ahead.

Win or lose, I’m enormously grateful for all of you. You really came through in a big way, and I’m proud to have friends and supporters as loyal and enthusiastic as you are.

A few more hours remain in this contest. We might win, we might lose, but either way, let’s make them work for it.

Things are heating up for the top 10 of the Nerdist Contest. This is a good thing, for some. I am happy to be part of so many fantastic writers. Yes even if by some miracle I do not reach top level or considered in the additional entries I will continue to promote and advertise for pre-orders. Still a long way to go.

So lets get this done. Even if it is not mine, select your favorite selection and get a pre-order. I am reading the top 20 now and will select two to purchase. It will be difficult.  I know with so many entries this will be a close race at the last hour.

Side note, part of the fight that happens across time. Takes place at Mist Lake. Read "The Thing From Mist Lake" if you want. This is part of a fight that happens across time.

Thank you again for your time.

Things are starting to get crazy for everyone in the Nerdist contest. Even more if you are in the top 10 fighting for the top three spots. With so many fantastic authors, everyone is showing their game so close to the finish line.

I want to thank you all for following. I’m sorry that I did not finish audio for chapter three. I should have the written version of the rough draft soon. Again after this chapter things start to get crazy.

Science and magic joining together to destroy a common enemy. A connections between the two worlds is made, secrets are discovered. Captain DeSoto world starts to fall apart as he learns from the past. Also I hope I have not sent out too many emails to the same person. I am still learning how to promote from the Inkshares site.

          Thank you again for following.
