Another 1.009 words added to the draft!
To be honest, 90% of those words seem total rubbish, telling the story in a horrible manner. Still, I hope the re-write will save the day :)
I've finished the 5th scene, the first 'unreality' scene in the novel, and have started the next one.
As for tomorrow, goal - another 1.000 words.
Hey guys. Thought you might get a kick out of this...
Many of the ships from our story are available as 3D printed collectables. Here's one i've hand painted.

I'm proud to share the official Blood Dawn map!
After more than 15 months working carefully on the draft for Blood Dawn, I enjoyed a much-deserved break during the holidays. One thing I got around to doing that I've been looking forward to the most is drawing the map for the world.
Some of you have seen the sketch of the world (it's in the third sample chapter on my project page). This map is much more detailed and put together with care. It came together like magic, in fact. I'm very pleased!
p.s. think this is cool? If you haven't bought Blood Dawn, then now is the time! This map will appear in the book, and is but a foretaste of the rich adventure waiting for you.
Dear supporters of California's Lost Gold,
Thank-you for your patience. I realize there hasn't been much development here recently. This project is very dear to me though and it will be brought back into focus in the near future.
For the moment though, I have had to shift my attention first and foremost to my other Inkshares project - The Last Machine in the Solar System - which is funding and competing in the Sword & Laser competition.
There are only 10 days remaining in the contest and my novella is in 2nd place! Truly incredible support, as we've garnered over 230 followers and 180+ readers.
But the contest remains very close and I could really use your support over there. Please have a look at the story. Give it a read. And if possible, hit pre-order, and move me one step closer to publication!
Thanks so much, -Matthew
