To all the readers and supporters of What She Lost, I am beyond excited to announce that the story of my grandmother’s life has been picked up by another publisher and is in production! I will continue to update you with information regarding the release of the book. This story has been a labor of love for so many years. My daughter’s Bat Mitzvah fell on the same day as the shooting at the synagogue in Pittsburgh, and because of this, I am more eager than ever to use my writing as a tool to encourage love and acceptance. A piece I wrote about this was recently featured on the Today Show’s website:

In the meantime, I am turning my attention to something completely different. I invite you to follow my story Through A Mirror Clear, a suspense/mystery with a touch of supernatural. This story was published as a novella on TheSame.blog, and I am potentially turning it into a novel in the vein of The Haunting of Hill House (oh my goodness I loved the recent Netflix show!). I plan to upload new chapters weekly to see what interest I can generate.
Thank you all again! Happy reading and a very happy Thanksgiving to you all!
Melissa
