Becca Spence Dobias liked an update for The Last Faoii

Listen up, Faoii! This is the most exciting missive to date!

The Last Faoii came out 6 months ago today. Even before it was a real book, even before we were worried about typesetting and Amazon reviews, hundreds of you chose to stand up and fight for this novel to become real. It’s because of you that this entire thing exists, and I am still so honored to be a part of this army. Look at what we’ve achieved, Faoii. Look at what you’ve done:

Do you see that, Faoii? 500 copies sold! It seems like yesterday I was staying up all night worried we’d never reach the bare minimum required for publication. I should have never doubted you, my warriors. And look! Only 3 reviews away from the magic 50 on Amazon. 50 reviews means greater visibility and being part of the "also bought" marketing tool, which will only help our army to grow stronger. We’re so close, Faoii. Only a few more steps and that hill is ours! Let’s finish this.

This last month has been exciting for other reasons too, Faoii. I’ve started preparing for summer events and signings. Here’s just a glimpse of what’s to come as I take our fight to the streets. I promise you, Faoii: They will know us.

And the best is yet to come. Maybe next month I’ll be able to show you the thing our army has been missing all this time. :)

Until then, Faoii, keep spreading the word. A single "like" or "share" on Facebook or a single retweet on Twitter could make all the difference in the world. And, of course, reviews on Amazon and Goodreads are always called for. Pick up that sword, Faoii. I could not have gotten this far without you, and I can’t keep moving forward without you, either. The fight is not over. I need you. This army needs you. Failure is not an option.

    Until next month. Shields up.

Becca Spence Dobias liked an update for Trigor

We are 40% of the way to funding Trigor with 73 days left! This is funding almost as fast as Pilot X did, so HUGE thanks to everyone who has put faith in this book with a pre-order.

We have two sample chapters up. One is the first chapter and the other does not spoil major plot points from the rest of the book. They are only spoilery in that after having read them you will know what happens in them.

And I’m willing to answer more questions too! Any th9oughts you have on Pilot X or what may be happening in Trigor fly them my way.

And of course big thanks to everyone who has been passing along the link and getting others to order it. I raise my cup of coffee to you and will buy a slice of pie in your honor!

      Cheers,

      Tom

Becca Spence Dobias liked an update for Sister of the Circuit

Three months from today  Sister of the Circuit will launch into the world like a weird, cyberpunk baby looking for cuddles. This means many things, not the least of which is that I am looking to build the book’s launch crew, starting with my core street team.

This handful of people will be the inner circle of the launch crew, the elite of the elite -- the Sisters (or Brothers) of the Circuit if you will. Are you the sort of person that loves sharing books with your friends? Want to make a few dollars building a crew of people jazzed to see the book succeed right out of the gate? Then contact me for details!

If you’re not interested in the street team idea but still want to be part of the launch, stay tuned. I’ll have lots of fun prizes and events for those looking to help the book build a review list and social media following for launch week.

Until next time hexers, may the Code replicate eternal.

Becca Spence Dobias liked an update for How to Remember

Hi everyone! I’m climbing out of the crazy-busyness that has been March. Here in Northeast Ohio, it’s still cold, but the sun has been out, thankfully. I am excited for real spring weather.

I wanted to let you all know that the manuscript is in! I turned it in last weekend after an inspiring retreat with some of my writing friends. I also read the fabulous YOUR BOOK, YOUR BRAND by Dana Kaye. Those of you who are authors must check it out. I’ve got lots of great ideas for publicity now!

But since we don’t have a release date yet - that’ll be the next update! For now, I’m working on my new manuscript, THE ENIGMA VARIATIONS, which follows three people in a small town after they receive a mysterious code in the mail. I’ll also post short stories for LOST MEMORIES as I finish them, but to be honest, I have been very into ENIGMA - I’m at about 20,000 words, and I hope to have a good first draft completed by this summer.

Well, I’m on my lunch break at work, so I had better get moving! Can’t wait to give you all more news :-)
