Thomas J. Arnold liked an update for Disintegration

If you live in New York, you're aware of how crap is the weather. Well, this is a good day on Earth, in Disintegration. This is just shy of beautiful: gray skies, no direct sunlight, constant spittle raining down. Heavenly.

Just imagine a bad day.

Bad days are more normal, in my book. Charcoal-colored skies and near-perpetual, sulfuric acid-polluted rain. Being outside in that muck would be unpleasant enough without roving hordes of Ingili (corren exiles from the Confederation military) and human brigands trying to rob you at best ... and whatever you can imagine, at worst.

I've been writing. Constantly writing. Revising. Not sure how I'm going to make 750 hardcover copies but I'm wishin', and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin' (well, not prayin') ... and even though the song tells me that won't get my book into people's arms (that is what the song is about, right?), I'm-a do it anyway.

Inkshares will be adding an additional three weeks to my campaign because they now have an eBook-only purchase option that is exactly half the cost of the hardcover book.

Something to bear in mind: the price is not the cost of the book itself.

The price is the amount of your donation. Your contribution to crowdfunding the publication of a new author. Me. You'd be investing not just in Disintegration going to print, but also in getting your unique artwork-drawn by me (I'm a pretty decent artist, so this prize doesn't actually suck)--and creating exposure for this story, which would translate so well to screen. Imagine Disintegration as a Netflix series. How cool would that be?

Order your copy, today.

Thomas J. Arnold liked an update for Monkey Business

    Hello folks!

My wife is currently on a plane somewhere over America doing a final read through of Monkey Business. Once she's done with that I'll be sending in the manuscript to Inkshares. Presumably they will try to turn it into something a person might actually want to read.

I don't know if they've completely worked out the light publishing process yet but we'll find out together. I'll let you know more as I know more.

Thank you all. Thank you so much.

Thomas J. Arnold liked an update for Beyond The Code

Hello there everyone. Thank you all for your support. Things are going very well on the editing front. I just wanted to take a moment to remind you wonderful people that I, like any writer, need your feedback. If you have the time I would deeply appreciate discovering what you liked or dis-liked about what you've seen of my work so far. I want nothing more then to make this story the best it can be.

Again thank you all for your support and I look forward to hearing from you.

Thomas J. Arnold sent an update for Exile, Magus

This week marks the beginning of my schedule truly becoming hectic, so I'm gonna try to be as brief as possible with this one.

First, you may have already noticed the new cover art.  Its of a scene from Chapter 3 that I like to think of as Buscidia and Pentaz versus the Cog Monster, which is one of my favorites.  It was done by a wonderful artist named Lizzy Perez, and for any other authors out there who would like to see about getting some art done by her you can contact her at morzaph@gmail.com

The orders are continuing to come in, but unfortunately it doesn't look like it will be fast enough to reach 100 by Friday.  This means that Friday I'll be posting up another map instead of Chapter 6.  I just hope I can get around to finishing the map by then.

Finally, unless something changes with scheduling I'm going to be on Vitamin Geek Podcast this coming Monday(11/16).  In the meantime if you're not already familiar with them be sure to check out the Vitamin Geek Facebook page and/or just go straight to listening to some of their past episodes here.

Like I said, I'm trying to keep this one short, so that's all I've got for now.  Keep reading, enjoy the rest of your week, and thanks for the support.  I expect to see everyone back Friday afternoon.

Thomas J. Arnold liked an update for Storm of Fury

          Acolytes,

With less than fifty days remaining to fund Storm of Fury, I've realized that the likelihood of reaching 750 copies is impossible without some sort of miracle. The light publishing goal, 250 copies, is still quite obtainable, but I am beginning to grow apprehensive. Within the last two weeks, I've sold only one book. We still have to more than double the number of pre-orders, and if things don't pick up soon, I'm going to start worrying.

So, in order to boost morale and entice new readers, chapter three of Storm of Fury will go up on Inkshares tomorrow afternoon! Grab a friend and check it out! (And then get them to buy the book.) Tell everyone you know about this great book you ordered, and help make Storm of Fury a reality!

Also, if you haven't already checked it out, see my interview on a website created by John Robin, the author of Blood Dawn, here: https://epicfantasywriter.wordpress.com/2015/11/02/world-builders-andrew-wood/

          Here's to reading!
