Ahh, English.....In my experience of learning and using various languages, my opinion is that English has a unique characteristic - fault tolerance. This is not because the syntax of English is especially robust. Rather, it is because of an underlying psychological aspect of (good) English users. Communication in English is NEVER a monologue because the listener/reader is always expected to help by auto-editing the text in order to fully understand it. Trust me, in languages such as German is is very definitely NOT the case.
Not only is this book an amazing book, its also written by a really swell author!
