Sent out an edited and update first chapter. Hope you all enjoy. 

Looks like I gained a fourth reader when I wasn’t looking. Thanks for checking out Nightvision. Let me know what you think of the edits or if I missed any drastic mistakes. The problem with doing half my edits on my phone, it does weird stuff sometimes or I miss something. It’s strange how changing the reading format makes it easier to spot stuff. I’ve already made some small changes just from skimming though the chapter here on Inkshares right after I posted it. lol If I’m not careful it will become the never-ending edits. I think I’ve learned that lesson though and will keep plowing forwards, not backwards.

In other writing related news... My writing team The Wolves just won another challenge in the Writer’s Games. Yay! That one took true teamwork to pull off.  

Hello readers and faithful followers! Things have been a little quiet here on my page, but I’m still here, still writing, still reading and discovering the work of other talented authors here on Inkshares. (If you would like for me to read your chapters and give you some inline comments/critiques, drop me a line. I’m more than happy to do it!)

School started this week, and as I homeschool my two older kids that means a bit of a schedule adjustment. I’m trying to find the quiet edges to my day where I can sit at the computer and give Fae Child the attention it deserves. It’s a work in progress.

I am also going to Rose City Comic Con this Saturday - I will be wearing an eyecatching dress and handing out Fae Child bookmarks! IN THEORY, anyway, the bookmarks haven’t been delivered yet, and I was up until 3 am last night cutting out the fabric for the dress. Sewing is tonight after work! (This week has been a little... busy.)

Figured out the Microsoft Word Online works on my new laptop with my current setup on my phone and old laptop, so it syncs back and forth through dropbox. My 2-1 computer is much easier to drag around and type on. Edits make my eyes cross, so it’s slow going, but it is progressing one sentence at a time. 

Little behind on edits, busy busy weekend. On the upside I bought a new laptop. Once I get word setup I expect it to significantly help my writing.

Am editing approximately a page a day. Not fast, but steady. 

New challenge for the Writer’s Games is up so my attention will be slightly diverted today while I try my hand at creating an option for the team. 

When I clear the section of the first chapter in edits I will repost it with the changes. Six more pages I think? Hopefully, I will be able to pick up the pace. I got passed the scene giving me the most trouble for now.

Uploaded a new section for you all to read. I don’t have proper chapter breaks in the manuscript right now, so I cut it off at a scene change.

 Edits are still continuing. Finishing page four rolling into page five. Diverted a bit of time into the Writer’s Games: Team challenge. Event three required to write a story with Double Ententres. That was an unusual mental workout. XD On the other hand, my team, The Wolves, won event two. That gets us into the anthology! Yay!

 That’s my story for the day. How’s yours going? 

Draft 4 edits officially begun. First chpt is getting a hard scrub. Not totally scrapped, but definitely reworked. Trying to tighten it up a bit instead of wandering down tangents. 

Finished the read through in preparation for draft 4 today, note taken and scribbles made. Here comes the hard part. Actual edits.
