Great news everyone. Thanks to tremendous support Crow’s Gambit has hit 251 Pre-Orders. That means it will get published under the Quill imprint!

  • Crow Research Investor ($10) - Supporter will receive a copy of the Crow Research company Prospectus.
  • Crow Research Employee ($20) - Supporter will receive a copy of the Crow Research Employee Manual and the Prospectus.
  • Crow Works Access ($60) - Supporter will receive the Employee Manual, Prospectus, and an identification badge allowing access to the top secret Crow Works (you also get your name on the patron page of the book too).

Thank you everyone for helping make this happen. I will continue to keep you updated as we shift into full editing and production mode.

More will come...

Jane-Holly Meissner liked an update for Crow’s Gambit

Happy weekend Supporters of Crow’s Gambit.

The good news is you should have just received a short narrative titled Prologue Version #2. Taking advice from some of the writers over at the Listeners of the Dead Robot Society I’m reworking my original info dump of a Prologue. This draft also gives a little bit of the background for one of the later characters in the story, Tish.

The bad news is we only have 4 days left in the campaign to get Quill publication of the story. If any of you haven’t committed to a Pre-Order yet or know someone who might I would really appreciate any help in getting to the 250 goal.

Thanks for all of your support.

Jane-Holly Meissner liked an update for When I’m 64

      Happy President’s Day Readers,

Four score and seven years ago, okay okay, actually more like 18 months ago, the funding period ended for When I’m 64. The path to publication has been an exhilarating journey, but today I received the most exciting news: When I’m 64 is en route to the printer!  The final edits have been made, the proofread is complete and the full cover has been accepted by the team at Inkshares.  The book that you helped create will be on it’s way to you in no time!

This dream will become a reality in just a few short weeks. Thank you for all of the support and encouragement along the way!

Jane-Holly Meissner liked an update for Artificial Generation

          Hey again, guys!
It’s been quiet from me a while, but here is finally an update on ARTIFICIAL GENERATION!

As you know, I didn’t win the contest here on Inkshares I joined, and after it ended I chose to end the crowd-funding, so I didn’t reach any of the goals for publishing through Inkshares.
That was because the funding took too much out of me.
But I promised you then ARTIFICIAL GENERATION would still be a reality, and now it is!

The ebook can already now be pre-ordered for Kindle, just follow this link here:
The paperback isn’t up yet, but will be up by the release date on March 1th.
ARTIFICIAL GENERATION is also on Goodreads, so head on over and add it to your shelf, or give a review whenever you get around to reading the book!

          DISCLAIMER:
I know there’s been some confusion about getting the book and not because of this site.
Even if you bought a copy last summer, you will have to buy a new copy now through Amazon. The money you spent on Inkshares should have been returned to you, though, so you didn’t lose anything.

Again, thank you to everyone that helped me last summer, and everyone that has stuck with me since.
You are all amazing, and if not for the enthusiasm I met when trying to win the contest, I’m not sure I’d have gone all the way with ARTIFICIAL GENERATION as I now have. Thank you.

          /Anniken

Jane-Holly Meissner liked an update for The Man Who Stole the World

I’VE UPDATED THE PAGE WITH A NEW COVER AND TITLE!

After I sent the last update, I got a ton of positive feedback about the new title. So, I went ahead and constructed a makeshift cover until the book cover masters at Inkshares create something inevitably mindblowing. Seriously. The covers coming out on Inkshares books have been amazing. To fill the gap until the amazing book cover train arrives, here’s what I scrounged together with my limited skills:

There’s clipart involved. It’s a temporary thing that may or may not elicit a "cease and desist" letter. But it’ll hold the spot for now.

I updated the page itself, including the pitch and summary. I also uploaded the first chapter, which will be sent to you in a separate email. I hope you enjoy. You can view the entire book page by clicking here on these words.

I realize most of you have been waiting for some time for this book, and I appreciate your patience. Your investment in me has been life changing, as I have learned more about the process of crafting a book than I would have without your faith in me. While I know the wait has been long, trust me when I say the result will be worth the wait. I am indebted to you always. Thank you for all of your love, support, and patience. 2018 will be a year saturated with progress.

As always, love to you all.

            Happy Fat Tuesday!

Jane-Holly Meissner liked an update for A Prophecy for Two

Just a quick update - things are moving along on the editorial front, and Inkshares just sent me the list of patrons for inclusion, so if you hear from me as far as checking your preferred name/spelling or anything, that’s why!

Also, if you like the things I write, or if you like cat shapeshifters and witches, or if you like gay paranormal fantasy in general, a small self-promotion: - my novella Port in a Storm, from Less Than Three Press, is available here on Amazon! And it is only $1.99, at the moment! The sequel is in the hands of my editor over at LT3, too...

Thank you to everyone who supported me in making this book a possibility. I hope everyone is enjoying the book.

Making the book exist is one thing, letting everyone else know about it is another, and I still need your help.

Once you finish the book, I’d be very grateful to you if you leave a honest review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. We currently have 7 reviews on Amazon, but lets get this into the hundreds ASAP! The more reviews, the easier getting I Am Waltz 2 out will be!

Also, be sure to tell your friends about the book, lend it to them, encourage them to pick up a copy. Share on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, real life, your blog, etc.

Thank you all so much, and stay tuned for updates on I Am Waltz 2 which I am working on now, through the working title I Am Waltz: Project Monarch.

Jane-Holly Meissner liked an update for How to Remember

Hi, readers! We did it!! 260 copies as of today. I’m so excited. We’ve raised $32 for Babywearing International of Akron Youngstown, and this book is going to happen!

I’m taking a break from campaigning - once I know more details, I’ll continue to update. I’m putting together a marketing plan, and I need to revise the book when it comes back from its manuscript review. I will also be posting companion short stories on the Lost Memories Inkshares page. I have some blog posts set up for my website. Finally, I’m drafting a new novel, which is not part of the MindTech world, but I hope you’ll love it too.
