A very good start to a fascinating story about the war between good an evil. I will follow with interest!

Browning has the beginnings of an epic fantasy on his hands, and in the two excerpts posted we see the beginnings of a struggle between the light and the dark. Add in some memorable characters and this is one to watch.

I very rarely pre-order a book without reading all the way through. I also don't often pay attention to other reviews. However, the second I looked into The Spark Internal, I was instantly hooked. Its a definite must for any fantasy lover!

While I'm not a big fan of prologues, Jacob Browning pulls you in with a classic dark vs light intrigue. Epic Fantasy demands great fight scenes, in which 'The Spark Internal' delivers without fail!

A promising premise to an epic fantasy: When an ancient evil awakens to bring darkness to the land, forces of goodness and light must summon their strengths to reclaim the world. I look forward to seeing how this story plays out!

An ominous prologue that promises a fateful battle of good against the rousing forces of darkness. With just enough hints towards the wider world to intrigue the reader, The Spark Internal is off to a good start.

An intriguing start to a classic tale of good vs evil on what promises to be an epic scale.  Ever the fan of light vs dark stories, I will be watching this one closely.      

Set in a world of magic and fantastical characters, this project will spark your curiosity from the first paragraph with a well developed world and intriguing magic system that will leave you begging for more. I cannot wait to see where this project goes!

The author brings you right into the action, kicking off the narrative with a strong opening. It is set in a well-developed, high fantasy world with a cast of unique characters, from an man with rock flesh and his companion, to a skilled war mage protecting an ancient evil. It seems from what is written thus far, that the author has a strong sense of atmosphere, and knows how to write thrilling combat scenes. This has all the makings of an epic fantasy tale.
