Yicheng Liu's latest update for The Remains Of Civilisation

Nov 2, 2015

Hello avid followers of The Remains of Civilization!

I know I should've put out an update by now, and believe me, I had been putting of making this update for a while now. Right now, I think I missed the best time to put it out.

The national novel writing month is here, and I am writing the hell out of my book. It's going to be a tough month, but I think I can brave through it. It's going to take all 100% of me to finish writing this book, so I can't afford to promote my book anymore; writing comes first. So I am going to need followers of this book to shell out a few dollars to keep this book afloat and ready to be published.

The other reason for why I haven't been chucking out any new updates in a while is because I thought this book it's going to die (figuratively, of course), it's been weeks since the last time someone has backed this book. I am really nervous about not reaching even the light funding goal. I do need every single one of you to chip in and help. It's not going to be the last time I am going come out of my cave to beg, but I would rather write an eulogy for this book and bury it in my backyard than stop writing and just...move on. Writing is something I liked to do, and I truly believes in my stories 110% . So I wanted this book to hit the bookshelves with all it's glorious ink-filled pages.

If you truly liked this book and wants to see this in print, just press the buy button. It's the best way to support this book, but refer it to your friend is also an awesome way to help. $20.00 is a lot to commit to some stranger on the Internet and probably aren't a worthy investment, but give me a chance and I might actually churn out something enjoyable to you dear followers that are reading this.

Help me bring the characters into a spellbinding volume of action, adventure, some immaturity, humor, and vague science fiction that you see on the bookshelves. Heck, maybe ten years later, you might feel proud of yourselves that you're indirectly responsible for this book's creation and the beginning of my writing career whatever the case, enjoy yourselves and this might be the last time you will hear from me for this month.

Farewell,
Yicheng Liu.
