Hey Everybody.  I took a hiatus from Inkshares because I had some creative differences with the site and so I could finish up Seven Days Dead on my own.  It’s done and self published on Amazon and Createspace now, and I remembered why I came to Inkshares in the first place: Community.  I’ve gotten some really good reviews and support on Seven Days Dead but, By Jove, it’s beyond difficult to get people to rate and review on Amazon.  Since that’s a direct impact on sales.....well, you get the picture.  So I thought I’d get The Lion in Darkness rolling again on this site, amidst folk who will appreciate it.

So.  The Lion In Darkness is taking preorders again and there are more chapters up on the page for you to read and hopefully they will entice you to support the project.  Be on the look out for these chapters to hit your inboxes soon.

Thank you all, and lets try and get this one published by someone who ISN"T me!

This update is not actually for The Lion In Darkness.  It’s actually for a book that I started on Inkshares and decided to self publish.  It may be considered bad form for me to promote it here to all of you, but several of you were extremely supportive of me and this adventure so I wanted to let you know: This adventure is over and the book is available for $12.99

For those of you that remember the book, you know that there is adult language throughout.  Also, for you since I count you among my friends, use this code: U5U2KY73 for 15% off.

Thank you one and all, I appreciate your friendship and you support.

Hi everybody!

Just wanted to remind you that The Lion in Darkness is now taking pre orders.  A map will be up shortly, there were some conversion things that need to be ironed out but it won’t be long. Also I’ll be putting up a little more of the work soon, I’m still figuring out where all my stuff is in all these moving boxes, so that’ll be soon too.  Thanks for following, and please do pre order. Don’t forget to bring a friend ;P

This is the kind of writing that makes you feel like you’re really there. I can’t wait to read more. This is a draft right now, with only a prologue, but I already feel invested in the story. The mysterious mountain, what happened to Ven’s dad, and what happens to him?

I read the excerpt, and wish I hadn’t.  Why?  Because I want more of this story!  Very well written, the story is fast paced and urges the reader forward with every sentence.  Can’t wait for more.

What do you think about it this way?

I think this sentenced - reworded of course -  should be the first sentence in the prologue - broken off on its own - then new graph  " the brother of the girl he’d just strangled to death surely at their head."  That’s the hook.
