Act 1 - 2. Ext. Dock - Midday

Once off the ship, Sinclair moves uneasily on the deck as his legs adjust to the stable ground beneath him. Waiting at the end of the dock for the lawyer is an elderly man with a brown complexion and wrinkles covering his face and hands.

The village elder raises a salutation as Sinclair tips his hat to greet the man.

VILLAGE ELDER

Welcome to my village, you can call me Howling Wolf, I take it the sea was kind to you?

SINCLAIR

Well met Howling Wolf, thank you for welcoming me to your village, you can call me Sinclair.

HOWLING WOLF

Is that an Irish accent I hear in your voice, Sinclair?

SINCLAIR

Partially, my father was Irish, but I was raised in London with my mother’s family.

HOWLING WOLF

Well follow me to the lodge Sinclair, we have much to discuss about your journey.

Howling Wolf and Sinclair leave from the dock towards the large, wooden building in the center of the Port Village.
