Born from a silver tube

Flow gently through the air,

Quietly filling the hall,

Echoing softly off of the walls

Back to the source,

Creating a comforting

and calming atmosphere.

Working as one

to an unseen, unheard, and unnoticed audience

Often silent observers,

            potentially nonexistent,

            Occasionally virtual,

                        depending on setting.

               sheet music, a stand-

            Preparing for

            the first downbeat-

            The signal to begin,

preceded by a sharp intake of air
