Some day, I’ll remember
what it’s like to feel awake again.
Some day, my ribs won’t ache.
My mind won’t overflow
with anxiety so potent
that it pervades my very dreams.
Some day, I will wake up,
I’ll breathe,
and maybe be content.
Some day, I’ll resurrect myself from the grave.
