Epilogue

You would like to imagine that the more often you move the more you get used to it all;  but the truth is that as you grow older and wiser, you realise that life is a collection of ephemeral experiences. Some you will remember and treasure for the rest of your days, others you will painfully carry on your shoulders all the way down to your grave; but each and every one will count, and that’s okay.

Although, if there is something that this life teaches you, it  is the art of letting go and the one of getting by; wherever you end up. Each time you leave a country to move to another, it is as if you left a version of yourself  behind, who you were in that space and time. But the beauty of it is that you get to redefine yourself every single time. You will make decisions that will fulfil you while others may break you down, but there will always be a lesson for you to learn from, whether you feel the need to seek out for help in order to heal or you are one who learns how to help yourself; life is exponential growth. You will always keep moving forward, one step at a time. After all, you are the writer of your story.

We all made it here today for a reason; we all live our own adventures, watch the same stars under the same sky each and every night. We all try to avoid counting the days but making each day count, we all do our best to truly live and not just survive this life that we are given through the obstacles that arise. This life is all that we’ve got, and the world is at our feet. So do it, explore the world. Be curious, seek new horizons and get out of your comfort zone. Let the world surprise you as your surprise yourself. And if there is something that you can keep in mind, it is that in order to live a life you want to look back on with contentment, you must develop your capacity of adaptation, but always in accordance with your values.

No matter how balanced you are within, there will always be exterior factors that are out of your control, but don’t ever let them stop you from living life abundantly.
