Who are you rooting for? Sheriff Harkins I would imagine. Most people do. Or are you one of the sickos who always cheers for the villain? Don’t feel bad if you’re rooting for Alan. I often find myself in the corner of the deplorable. What can I say? Villains are usually more interesting. I do sometimes wonder what that says about my state of mind, though.
Who am I?
I really wish you’d quit asking me that. I’m not comfortable telling you yet.
Ok. One hint.
I’m somebody you’ve already met.
Of course that is a good hint. There aren’t too many people in the story.
How could I possibly know all this?
I may have taken a few liberties with events I wasn’t present for. It was for your benefit though. You wouldn’t enjoy it if I didn’t give it a little pizzazz. Nobody likes to read something that sounds like a dry old history book. Plus, I promise that this is the truest version of this story you’ll ever get. The papers didn’t even come close. I’m quite certain nobody else knows this tale of woe as intimately as I do.
Let’s just get back to it. Our good Sheriff is settling in for some bedtime reading.
