Just when I almost said something to the guy, I came out of my dream from Allison shaking me saying it is time for breakfast. I finally got up.While we were eating breakfast, we turned on the TV; we flipped to the channel we like when the news came on. The news anchor said, “For today’s news, there are three kids that are on the run from the FBI. They are said to be very dangerous. I would say to stay indoors today folks. We do not know what they did to get wanted by the FBI, but I would say it is not safe right now, because…” The sound turned off and pretty soon there was a big power surge that came from Bella, she screamed loud enough to make us go deaf. The bulbs were going haywire; all of the electronics went haywire. As soon she stopped screaming the power came on and just went out in a very big pop. We all thought we should get out of here before the manager came up to find out what the heck happened. We climbed out of the window and got on another bus to another subway station. When we finally were the last ones on the bus, we both asked Bella at the same time, “What in the world was that?!” she looked at us and went to look at the ground. She said in a soft voice that was really hard to hear she said, “They said I would never get a power?” We were both looking at her, thinking who said she won’t have a power? When we got on a train to Cookeville, Tennessee, I finally got the courage to say something I said in a sad voice, “Why did you say that they told you that you won’t get a super power?”
She looked at me like she was told something and was very afraid that it might come true. She mouthed the words, “I’ll talk to you later.” I nodded in agreement. When we finally got to Cookeville, which took about two in a half hours, the first thing we did was find somewhere to eat. We found an old diner on the side of the road. We went inside and ordered us a couple of sandwiches. Then, we went to a small motel and checked in. While Bella and Allison were checking in, I looked at the calendar. It said that tomorrow is August fifth; That means I’ll be turning fourteen tomorrow! As soon as the girls were done checking in, we went to the room; I looked at the clock and it said nine thirty-five. I told everybody what time it is. So, we all went to bed, I woke up to Bella shaking me. I looked at the clock which said 1 o’clock A.M. I asked her, “why are you waking me up this early?” She looked really pale and tired; she told me, “you want to know who said I won’t get a power?” I nodded. “Follow me.” she said. So, I got up and followed her outside where she did something that surprised me; she ran at me and hugged me. I could hear her crying in my right ear.
