Tessa Lillu commented on The Reaper’s Assistant
I’m wondering. I mean, I like the idea and I wish I had come up with it. But you’re saying it will follow an apprentice. Should I be thinking along the lines of the Ranger’s Apprentice?

I like the ideas, as well as how the King and the centaur get to their very uneasy peace. Though I can’t help but feel that perhaps some explanations could be postponed? I kind of felt the whole part about Dante to be sudden. I like the explanation and feel like Dante will also play a great part in the story, but perhaps the explanation about how he came to be could be told once he was introduced? When he appears in the story, that explanation would follow amazingly.
Especially seeing how you can confuse the reader a bit (if only for one chapter). Seeing how in this chapter you’d explain why he’s hunting the centaur because his wife is infertile and the next chapter (or the one wherein Dante is introduced) the king may address him as ’son’, confusing the reader until you flashback and explain how he came to be.

Other than that, I loved the first read and will definitely keep an eye out for next chapters!

Oh, a first person point of view.  She’s a bit sassy and not meant for the snore the father makes her do. I’m very interested as how it will continue
