Hello, readers! I hope you’re all well.
This month’s Witherfist update is a relatively short one as there isn’t a lot that’s changed since the last time I was in touch, aside from the number of words that I’ve written. Work on the manuscript is coming along nicely and at the steady - sometimes galloping - pace that I’d hoped for. No news, as they say, is good news.
One new thing that I can share with you, though, is a new piece of character concept art. This is Oriku. She’s an assassin, and that’s all I’m going to tell you about her for now ;-)

Hello Knightmares!
It’s been a while, and there’s a very good reason for that. For one, I am balancing a career and my writing as best I can, which is not always a winning battle. In addition to that, I really don’t have much to update everyone with, as I am waiting my turn like everyone else. Inkshares has a ton of books all in the same queue, and we will be notified by the publisher when our time comes. As soon as I hear something, I will make an announcement.
I do, however, have good news. Since everyone has been waiting patiently for The Knightmares, I don’t want to let anyone down, or lose any momentum I may have had. With this in mind I devised a plan...
Starting on April 1st (no fooling) I will be releasing BRAND NEW FREE content on the first of every month leading up to The Knightmares release. This content will be available on my new author site that will be launching in a few weeks. Not only am I writing Vexed, but I have been squeezing every available moment I can into writing this content, creating a new webpage, and also creating artwork as well, ALL FOR YOU!
The free content includes a mythology that introduces everyone to an interconnected world I call SCALES. Borrowed from my love of Greek, Egyptian, Norse, and Mesopotamian mythology and folklore, this mythology will start at the beginning, and set up the stage for epic level world events that will be the stage of each of my novels. There will be a few surprises for those who enjoy classic Lovecraftian horror, which I hope does not disappoint.
I will be sending out an official email across all channels when the content and the site are ready. Hopefully this will keep your appetite roaring for when the book goes into official production.
Thanks again everyone, for your support!
Readers and Friends,
Wanted to give everyone an update on I Am Waltz. The book currently with Inkshares and will be going through the editing process before it is printed. Thank you all for your continued support and your patience.
Inkshares has had the manuscript since December, however editing and working through all these books is a time-consuming process, so please hang in there with me.
I will be starting book 2 soon. My goal is that shortly after you all receive your copies of I Am Waltz, I will be able to email out rough drafts of the first chapters of book 2.
Please message me with any questions, I will be happy to answer.
Thank you,
Matt
Another week is wrapping itself up rather quickly, and I will do the same with this update. Just a few points.
The first chapter of The Walls are Closing In was published in Inigo Online Magazine earlier this week! "Inigo Online is an international online magazine centered around people who create, invent or take risks for a project or a dream. We feature writers, artisans, poets, musicians, artists of all types, entrepreneurs, bloggers, filmmakers, foodies, fashionistas, photographers, innovators and more."
The Walls are Closing In passed the 300 order mark, and as promised, there is a new teaser trailer, made by yours truly.

Future milestone perks!
Let’s keep the word spreading! Just two referral orders from each follower will lock this full publishing deal down. I appreciate each and every one of you!
400 Orders - Audio version of Chapter 1 - Narrated by me. We will see how my voice-over chops measure up.
500 Orders - A limited edition The Walls are Closing In postcard (design to be revealed next week) will be sent to each of the first 500 to order (tipped in upon publication for paperback orders, or mailed for e-book orders.)
Until next time,
Jacqui
Friends, Readers, and Sorcerers All,
Greetings Jackolytes,
Sync City’s official publishing date is nigh! Many of you have already received the paperback versions, and the ebook versions should be coming out very soon.
Michael Haase, author of the tremendous Madness of Mr. Butler and staff writer at Renderosity Magazine, recently did an interview with me. It was great fun doing this. You can check it out at The Art of Story.
If this inspires you to take further interest in Sync City, you can find it at the following places:
The magnificent Michael Haase’s book can be found here. If you haven’t got a copy yet, now would be the time!
As always, don’t forget to share!
Cheers,
Peter
