Eric H. Heisner liked an update for Exile, Magus

Yesterday was... well yesterday was yesterday and that’s all I’ll say on that.

Unfortunately Magus failed to fund and its campaign ended yesterday, so this update doesn’t get to be a celebratory one.  I also overslept and have to hit the road soon, so it also doesn’t get to be the detailed update (with pictures) that I had originally planned.

In short, I’m not giving up on Magus and will continue working on a way to get into all of your hands.  I have a rough plan for that, but no time to go into it now, so I’ll just focus on the first step.  While posting up new chapters over the past year I’ve seen places to make relatively minor tweaks, so step one is to comb through the entirety of the book to make a number of small changes which I thought I had already done.  As they are small changes I don’t expect this will take more than a week or 2.

Like I said this one is short due to time constraints, I’ll likely hold off on a more detailed update until next week when I’m further along with revisions and detailed planning.

Thanks to everyone who supported this book.  Despite not funding I made the progress in 3 months that it previously took me 5 months to make, and that was with some new readers coming on board as well, so that shows me that I have managed to grow interest in this book which is quite encouraging to me.  Hopefully you’ll follow me into the future of this book as well.

Keep reading, and enjoying!

Eric H. Heisner liked an update for The New Aleph

Well everybody, sorry for the delay in updating after we passed the deadline.

There were a few things that happened that made it so we didn’t reach the goal, but none of that is going to effect my focus on completing the novel and the artwork for it. I don’t know how I’ll distribute it when it’s finished, or if I’ll be able to afford getting it proofread professionally, but I’ll let everybody know once I know more.

Thanks so much for hanging in there through the craziness!

Eric H. Heisner liked an update for Human Resources

Today has been a momentous day. Early this morning (Australian time) the latest round of finalists in The Launchpad Manuscript Competition were announced — The Judges’ Top 25.

I am ecstatic to confirm Human Resources has been included in this exclusive list! This competition started out with thousands of entries from twenty-four countries. To have HR selected by industry judges as being in the twenty-five best manuscripts from such an impressive cohort has me lost for words.

Moving forward, the judges will continue to whittle the finalists down. In a few short weeks they will announce the Top 10 and the judges’ winners! In parallel to that, the crowdfunding competition will continue until 16 December (PST). The three winners of the crowdfunding competition are guaranteed publication, regardless of the results of the main judging process, so if you are following the novel but haven’t pre-ordered yet, please consider putting in an order now.

The competition has been fierce, and even with the amazing support I have received, the pack is slowly reeling me in. If you are able to spread the word, to help me get HR in front of new eyes, it would be an enormous help.

      Thank you, and fingers crossed,

      Robert

Eric H. Heisner liked the forum thread, stuck on ends today permanently.
If someone doesnt save their submission after a deadline has passed. it will say ends today permanently. my page recently said ends today for 3 days after its deadline had ended. It decided to add a funny review to my story and then the deadline finally ended. thats fine but I paid for a story on inkshares and I don’t want to be held in  limbo for an insufficient funds transaction fee when it trys to give me back my money for the story I paid for.  these stories will inadvertently one way or another get to their deadlines but it should be on the deadline date.

Did the author cancel their campaign and are you going to get your money back? Sorry I didn’t understand your post, if you aren’t getting your money back you should definitely contact inkshares
