The War of Wind and Moon: Season One
17-year-old Mia exists in a chronic state of anxiety. The counselors at her last two schools had a word for it: hyper-vigilance. At Kazemoto Security Corp.’s Supernatural Division, the recruitment scouts have a word for it, too: potential.

Hello all, I’m new on the back of Geek and Sundry, too - glad you opened up the thread, @Allison Griner and a huge thank you to @P.H. James for all the links - I’d only found Write Brain and Goodreads, so far.

I’m going to be researching crowdfunding like mad - if I find any really useful links, I’ll try to pop in to post them!

Hey there! So I didn’t even know a place like this existed until the G&S fantasy contest started. I’m so into it, though! I still feel like I’m fumbling in the dark when it comes to diving into the community here, though. Not sure if there’s any tips or tricks to get to know folks around here. I’m always interested in getting to know other writers- trading stories/success/frustrations/etc.

So basically I just wanted to say hi! And see if there’s anywhere in particular I should start in order to shake the new kid feeling.

P.H. James liked an update for Crawls

Been hard at work on my horror/comedy novel Crawls in hopes of having a finished novel sooner than later. But what you may not know is when I’m not writing about hunting rat monsters in dank sewers tunnels, I’m writing and illustrating kid’s books (I know. Crazy, right?) My first title, Come Out of Your Shell, spins the yarn of a curmudgeonly Turtle who learns an important life lesson from an outgoing Snail. Please read a sample and follow Come of Your Shell  on Inkshares. Your continued support for my projects means the world to me. My deepest gratitude for getting these kooky ideas off the ground.

Can’t wait to find out what’s up. If the news isn’t that it’s getting published, you should definitely enter it into the Launch Pad contest. Seriously.
