This morning, I woke up with excitement as it is Pride Day in my area and I’m heading to a festival. And then I saw the news from Orlando, Florida and my heart broke. At this time, at least 20 people are dead and over 40 are injured after a gunman entered a gay nightclub and began shooting. I don’t know the motivation yet, but I have decided to take down my draft for now, due to potential  similarities. Once more information comes out, I will decide whether to retool this work a bit or let it carry on its original message. My thoughts now are with the injured and the families and friends of all involved. My hope is that we will one day stop bickering about "blame guns/blame Islam" and start figuring out how to help the people who need help before they go down any path of destruction.
