Hello,
In honor of the upcoming holidays, I've decided to put together a contest, and I've even added extra rewards for those of you who've already chosen to back The Children of the Forest!
With gift-giving season upon us, I thought it was fitting to pull something from my store for all of you readers out there. To that end, I've picked up a $250.00 Amazon Gift Card. You can cover all of your holiday needs with this one handy item! Or, simply splurge for yourself and pick up any number of great items to keep you busy for months!
The way the contest will work is simple. Everyone who purchases one or more copies of my book will receive X amount of entries, based on the purchase level. An E-book-only purchase, for example, will give the buyer X 1 ticket, a hardcover sale will award X 2 tickets, and so on and so forth.
For everyone who has already backed my book, you will receive DOUBLE the normal ticket value of your support level, as thanks for choosing to back my story without incentives!
I will be running this campaign until December 10th, at which time, I will announce the winner. If you've been on the fence about picking up a copy of my book, now is the time. Every single purchase awards you with a chance to win this great prize!

Hey Everyone,
So, how's your week going? Because mine...
That's right. An Unattractive Vampire has been chosen to join the Inkshares contest winners Asteroid Made of Dragons and The Life Engineered in the Sword and Laser collection. Here is a link to the official announcement.

I couldn't be be more happier. First of all, without the Sword and Laser contest, I would not have proofreading notes from a professional production team in my inbox right now. Second, I've been a fan of the Sword and Laser for years now. Seeing them use my two sentence jokes on their video show was exciting and when I heard them laugh while saying the title of my book on their podcast months ago, I was ecstatic. Getting to be a part of their collection, a part of the Sword and Laser, well...let's just say I'm going to have to replace a slot on my list of life goals. So thank you so, so much Tom and Veronica wherever you are (the West coast).
However, as one Mstr. Yulric Dunnwolffe Bile knows, there is no rest for the wicked. And so, until there's more news, goodnight.
Also, SQUEE!
Hey everyone, just wanted to quickly say that Chapter Two is now live, and Chapter Three will soon follow. I've also touched up some inconsistencies throughout the prologue and Chapter One, so if you have the time, go ahead and give all three a look-over.
I also wanted to take a moment to mention that I've hit almost 200 followers, but unfortunately that is almost double my current sales (unique sales, that is) if you're currently on the fence with pre-ordering, now is the time! I've updated the book with a new cover, and a plethora of content! Also, Inkshares has added a new sales option to the page, allowing you to purchase a digital-only copy of the book for the low-low cost of $10.00.
I'm currently a little over half-way to qualifying for the Quill-print option, but would love to see my novel make it all to the way to full-scale publication! I can only do this with the help of you, the readers! Please consider taking some time to recommend my novel to your friends, family, house-hold pets, or anyone else you can find. Get the word out there that The Children of the Forest needs all the support it can get!
I'm looking forward to hearing feedback on the new chapters!
Until next time,
Byron
What's up and stuff followers of Monkey Business? Hope everyone is doing well.
As of right now Monkey Business is the first (and I think only) book in the Quill Collection here at Inkshares! That is all because of timing and not because of anything special I did but I'm still excited and proud. I have submitted the manuscript, marketing copy, cover blurbs, bios and everything else to Inkshares (except cover art, that comes a little later after they figure out the actual page count.) So for the next couple weeks the awesome folks at Inkshares will be trying to turn my word vomit into something marketable.
Since Monkey Business will be the first book to go through the "Light Publishing" process I'm assuming there will be some hiccups along the way but right now we're looking at about 5 months until there's a signed book in your hand.
I'll keep you all updated as I move through the process. If you like the book, please share it with friends and if you have a minute please like my writing page on Facebook (linked below.) Thank you all again for the interest and support. As for me know, I move on to the next thing and I may be asking for your input on that soon.
Hugs and kisses and manly fist bumps,
Landon
