Peter Birdsall liked an update for She Is the End
Hi everyone!

I'm fine! Everything's under control, situation normal! We're - we're all fine here! How are you?

Boring conversation, anyway!

The 2word & La2er contest is almost over, and do I have some recommendations for you? DO I???

First of all, you'd better go buy Deus Hex Machina by Amanda Orneck immediately.

I get to cameo in the book (AHH) and I'm also illustrating a page of the graphic novel for Amanda...

And YOU could win an original ink drawing of one of the panels. Just be one of the next ten people to pre-order her book, and you'll be in the running to win the original final ink drawing that will be based on this sketch:

So order!

Secondly, LISTEN. You need to know about Transilience by Kevin Bragg.

Transilience is a delightful concept that will probably (hopefully) be a movie someday. A scifi noir tale about a private investigator unraveling corruption and fighting for his life... on Mars? Heck yes!

I checked in with author Kevin Bragg and now I'm super-excited about the variety of interesting women who play complex roles in his book. This isn't noir stuck in the past... this is future noir!

As for She Is the End, well, Alex and I are working on it. It's going to be good.

I promise.

Happy Museday!

Today's update is a short one. I just wanted to remind those that are following the book that there are three days left in the Sword & Laser the Sequel contest, and Deus Hex Machina is only three people away from 6th place. Only ONE order away from our next giveaway!  Gah! I want to give away a book today! Can we do that please??

I'm still plugging along on chapter 2 (very slowly as I'm not seeing much interest on the preorder side for me to rush on it. That very well could change though, in an instant. After all, there are books out there that are selling 100s of copies in a DAY. Seriously, preorder this book nao. Dot com. Might as well see if she can fund in a week. That would be amazing.

I am still holding out hope that those that are following the book are interested enough to take the plunge and preorder it today. If you do, we just might get this book published. Isidore and Dax are in your hands now. Treat them well.

Ah hah! We hit 90 readers!  That means I get to give away a signed copy of Shadow of the Owl!

Congrats to...Dan Holth!  Dan was kind enough to be my second Super Reader, and it looks like the multiple books ordered worked in his favor because the dice rolled in his favor this fine winter day.

Now it's early yet, so I am eager to see if we can get to the next raffle today.  Can we get 10 more people to jump on board by the end of the day?

*crosses fingers and toes* Oh I hope so!

"Oh I do believe in you, yes I do...Live without your heartbeat. Love without your sunlight. I, I can't live within you."

Grieving for the man who stole my world. Much love to all readers who are feeling the same! Here's a pic of my fiance and I from this past Halloween, as Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (as close as we could make it as we were traveling abroad...so we stole some influences from Halloween Jack). An update on Talkers will follow soon. R.I.P Starman.
