"Having gone up 16 unique readers from last week, Tahani Nelson and her book The Last Faoii continues to have one of the strongest campaigns in the Top 10. A *ton* of stuff has been going down on her book page and in her comments section. A $100 VISA giftcard was the most normal thing going on there. We got a new book trailer(which is awesome!) by the amazing@Christopher Lee , there is a new blurb describing the book as well as a new section about Ms. Nelson herself in the About the Author section. On top of all of that, Ed Kemmick of “Last Best News” wrote a really great article about Ms. Nelson and The Last Faoii. You can check that out right here. Someone pointed out today that I haven’t had my blurb up on the page for a LONG time. So of course some of you don’t actually know what the book is about. That’s a ridiculous mistake, faoii, and I am sorry for having failed you. The page is updated (and I put up an "about the author" section under the new trailer). But here’s the blurb for those of you who are still on the fence about whether or not to pick up a blade.

The custom boiler plate and font styles with the black backgrounds and gold image is a little overkill I think. The font is hard to read on the background with the color schemes on a laptop window.

Book trailer is great. You also have an extra image of your cover in your body of the "about the book" that is not needed.

I think your page is missing the "About the Author" section, why we should preorder your book, where it came from, etc etc.

You see, the books on Inkshares are ideas, concepts. You’ve got very little about the core themes of what your book is about. Epic Fantasy? Mystical? High Fantasy?

Touching on power? Revenge?

My real opinion is that you need to refocus your page with the artwork in the trailer, and the text that’s in there and remove a bunch of the "chapters, and excert’s" from your page. Tell us, the customer, what we are getting, why we should support you, and who you are.

Is the book done yet? What’s it born from? What’s a Faoii? How about the setting? Why should we read this book? Where can we find more of your stuff?

Also, you have Fay-Hee in your book trailer.... I think that’s neat, but you don’t have that on your page.

Remember: We are supporting you, the author, on the promise that you have a great concept and are going to go through rounds of editing to a finished book. If I don’t know what that means to you, I’m less likely to back and support you. Hit us with a great concept, tell us why we should back it, and what we should expect.

The Video is fantastic and I would put some elements from that more into your page.

Also, I REALLY want to see more about you. The Author and less of excerpts. You only need one chapter to hook someone into your concept.
