Alan Tucker liked an update for Dax Harrison

Hey friends!

Did everyone have a great Saturday? I did! I was running back and forth between participating in the Inkshares Review-A-Thon, running errands, and deep cleaning the apartment for an ugly sweater Christmas party!

Needless to say, it was a busy day. But a fun one! And unfortunately, I didn't get to leave nearly as many reviews for my fellow authors as I wanted to, so I will most definitely be making up for that this week.

I DID however join in for JF Dubeau & Paul Inman's livestream broadcast. Many thanks to them, the other participating authors, and a massive thanks to A.C. Weston as well, the overworked mastermind behind this amazing event. You can watch the full video HERE. The Dax Harrison live-reading antics begin around 51:00, but I encourage you to watch the full stream if you have a chance. There are some great interviews with multiple authors and Inkshares co-founder Adam Gomolin!

I have yet to watch the replay of the live-reading myself, but apparently we must have done something right! Dax scored 12 more orders yesterday, and 4 today! I also took the opportunity last night to bug a few folks at the Christmas party. *mwah ha ha ha!*

Let's take a look at the countdown: 6 days left, 22 orders to go!

Oh, we've got this. We've SO got this! There's some more good stuff brewing at Camp Dax for this final week. Stay tuned!

-Tony

P.S.: I know I'm a bit behind on the latest mug giveaways. After this final push, I will get caught up, probably in one big grand finale video. See ya soon! :)

Phew that #inksharesreviews day though!  It was super fun to spend the day reading other people's submissions.  Thanks to everyone who reviewed DHM and Shadow of the Panther.  Your words about my words were incredibly touching and make me want to write!  We also reached out 50 order mark, which means I got to celebrate with my pizza party!  Congrats to Peter Birdsall for winning the $20 worth of pizza.  I hope you get to nom nom to your hearts content whilst reading awesome things.

I also had three orders today, which means that there are three people getting cameos in my books!  Cara Weston and Joe Terzieva have chosen to be immortalized in DHM, and Devin Harris will get to appear in Shadow of the Panther!  It's all incredibly exciting!

Our next raffle will be at 60 preorders, and I will give away another signed copy of Shadow of the Owl!  Let's see if we can do that in the next few days and get DHM back to its #3 ranking!

    Have a wonderful evening!

Alan Tucker liked an update for Suffrage - The First World Key

      Time for an update Rebels!

Progress... Finn has been a rock with the editing, so much so I'm having trouble keeping up! For now though just want to let everyone know that we're still powering on.  I'm still thinking and fiddling with the structural edit around chapter 8,9,10. Finn's up around Chapter 19 or so doing line by line edit. We seem to be increasing the size of the manuscript, I think we've added another 20 pages so far. Going forward, I think I'll let you know when we are finished with the first read-through edit.

Social Media...As mentioned before - both Finn and I are socially media inept...but we're trying and learning. Baby steps are needed.

Google+ community for Suffrage  - This is mostly Finn's doing and he's doing a good job here. Come link to the community we are hoping to establish.Where you'll see things like...

Twitter -  I'm Twignorant...which funnily enough would be the same as our visitors. Somehow Snake managed to get hold of a smartphone. That's not good. Please help the poor confused Rebel understand more about this thing called Twitter. He's just madly pressing little buttons right now. You might also want to ask him some questions. https://twitter.com/Suffrageworld.

Review-a-thon - Time differences being what they are...this kinda didn't happen for me...but I watched the livestream. And I reviewed a few projects I like the look of. Good job to all involved, and I am slowly replying to those that have reviewed Suffrage...thank-you very much. P.S. Inkshares staff - how do I say this nicely...the review process is...clunky and less than user friendly.

Hello readers!  First if all, I have to thank the wonderful A.C. Weston for her amazing efforts; I don't know about you, but I was blown away by the inaugural Review-a-thon! And I would not be upset if this became a frequent event ☺

Next, thank you to the reviewers who were sent to my page (and those amazing few who weren't)for taking the time to read my story and share your reactions. It means the world to me and really revives the passion to get back to it! I am eagerly reviewing back and have been amazed by the stories that I hadn't stumbled upon yet. For starters, you have to check out Munro's Bones of the Past, link below:

          https://www.inkshares.com/projects/the-bones-of-the-past

I  was so taken with Munro's characters that I read every bit he had posted before writing me review. Then I read it again! Nial and Zuly are quickly becoming my favorite character to follow.

          Next, for magic, sacrifice and an urgent sense of the epic, check out Berg's Prophecy of the Stars, link below;

          https://www.inkshares.com/projects/prophecy-of-the-stars-0264

The sweet sadness and coming danger is alive in every word and I promise you won't be able to put this one down. There is poetry, there is magic, and I think there is a budding female protagonist who will carry us through an unmatched tale of vengeance.

In other words...I am so grateful for the two I was assigned, but I definitely didn't stop there! There are too many amazing projects to mention, but I just want to send a shout out to Cory Wyszynski's U-Turn at the Next Synapse. Link below:

          https://www.inkshares.com/projects/u-turn-at-next-synapse

His story is told with a grit and no-excuse brutality that will hold you breathless as you are thrown between two completely different worlds. Check it out; you won't turn back  😉

Next round of business: Syndicates! I have been exploring the idea and am sold. Watch for a new one very soon (just trying to get through grading a million papers and final exams before the semester officially ends on the 22nd). I am excited about starting one and hope I can pull a few of you in to help me support incredible authors every month in a pooled effort!

Lastly, I have a ton of credits about to expire, so please, if I haven't backed your project yet, pitch it or reach out at jliggan@gmail.com or on twitter @lamplitug. I try to support all the ones I can and am sure I have missed a few! (Also, as always, would love to swap preorders too!)

Much love and I hope you all have a splendid holiday season!!

          Janna
