K M Cooper sent an update for Mushroom and Anchovy

Greetings, readers! Or... perhaps I should call you Adventurers. In fact, I think I will.

So, here it is: the beginning of a long campaign. I’m very excited to have gotten things kicked off and have seen the first 14 pre-orders come trickling in.

In an attempt to keep us all sane, I’m going to try to update only once or twice a week--definitely a Monday update, with the possibility of a Friday update as well. That is because this entire thing coming to absolute fruition at 750 preorders would be a literal dream come true for me, and I need as much help as I can get. So, with the exception of anything special going on, I’ll keep it to two weekly e-mails.

A couple of things for this week: 1. I will be taking a 24-hour writing retreat in the woods on Thursday the 25th, so I will not be responding to any tweets, DMs, or e-mails during that time. This will be a very necessary rest period so I can get ready for the social media onslaught I will be curating for the next three months. 2. Join me next Wednesday (May 31st) at 8:30 PM AST, when I will be reading chapter 1 of Mushroom and Anchovy LIVE on my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/kcooperwriting/)! 3. I have started the hashtag #MushAnch, so please use that on social media when talking about the book.

We’re at 32 followers and 14 pre-orders, so I want to know: what can I do to get a pre-order out of those of you who have yet to place? Are there any doubts? I’d also like to remind you that ordering 3 books at once will place you in the credits at the back of the book--shout-out to Adventurer Aaron Blair and his daughter Sunshine for being the first to do this!

I’ll have more news to share on Friday when I return from my retreat. In the meantime, please let me know if there’s anything I can do to garner your interest!

May all your adventures be fraught with wonder and just enough peril to keep it interesting,

K. M. Cooper
