Hello everyone,
Cara Weston is the author of "She is the End" which is seeking funding through Inkshares as well. She's graciously provided me with a bundle of her work to hand out to the next 50 customers who purchase my novel!

Grab yourself a copy of The Children of the Forest, and snag not only a chance to win a $250.00 gift card to Amazon on December 10th, but also a cool piece of collectible art, featuring several of Science-Fiction's best female leads!

The Children of the Forest only has 4(!!) days left to hit its funding goal for the Quill printing option. Pre-order a copy (or 10) and help me reach my goal before it's too late! https://www.inkshares.com/projects/the-children-of-the-forest
Hey everyone.
I have a pretty big favor to ask of the community. Currently, my book is sitting pretty on 160 sales in total. I'm very happy with the response I've received, and all the support my readers have given me. Unfortunately, I'm still short of my goal, and with only five days left, I still need at least 90 unique sales.
I am going to be doing a major push locally for the rest of the week to garner as much support as I can, but I need the Inkshares/writing community to help me out. I have over 200 followers, but less than half of that in unique sales. If each person used their credits, or simply purchases a $10.00 e-book, I will be able to hit my goal before the deadline.
Please push the book or use any available credits to help me hit my goal before it's too late! Recommend the novel to whoever you can, and get the word out that it needs every sale I can get my grubby hands on.
The Amazon gift card contest is still going (you get an entry for each pre-order, so your $10.00 nets you a chance to win a $250.00 gift card on December 10th) so there's always the possibility of that prize to "sweeten the sale".
Also, I've started a personal blog in conjunction with John Robin's upcoming Epic Fantasy project, go check it out and follow me there for opinion pieces on writing, life, and other fun stuff, as well as for my contributions to his stuff. Thanks again everyone, now let's try to get this done!
~ Until next time.
Hiya!
I will be running Beneath White Clouds through #SFFpit on December 10th.
"Wait, what the googly-moogly is--"
The gist: it's a day when people with spec fic manuscripts like mine hurl tiny book pitches into the thrumming void of twitterspace, all because some guy named Dan says literary agents will be listening for the #SFFpit hashtag (see, I'm a trusting sort of guy). If an agent "likes" a pitch, then I'll pull Beneath White Clouds from Inkshares and put together a submission to that agent. If not, then I'll keep on trucking through various alt-pub options, like maybe this one :-)
If you follow me on Twitter (@LandreneauMakes) then I apologize in advance to the many many tweets I'll be dumping out about BWC. But while you're groaning about how I wont shut the tweet up, maybe you can help a little? Don't "like" any of the tweets with the #SFFpit tag - if you do, I'll think you're an agent, and if you're an agent, let's just cut to the chase and sign a deal, yeah? What you can do is retweet the heck out of me to make me look important and noteworthy. to literary agents.
Meanwhile, of course, send any friends of yours to my Inkshares page. One way or another, Beneath White Clouds will be published.
Peace, Love ya!
Aw crap I'm late for work!
