Landon Trine liked an update for The Madness of Mr. Butler

The Beta readers have been contacted for Mr. Butler!

For those of you not down with the lingo, beta readers read an initial draft of the book and give feedback for edits for the final manuscript submission. I have a great crew aboard, four strong thus far. But if you have any interest in being a beta reader for Mr. Butler, then speak up now and send me a direct message on Inkshares!

I’m very proud of how this story has blossomed. I rewrote a lot of it, and it’s all for the better. I haven’t changed the bare bones of the story, so don’t panic. It’s still the same basic idea that you funded. But it’s better now.

Thank you for your patience and support. I’m looking to submit the final manuscript to Inkshares in late August/early September. I plan on the wait being well worth it. Thank you for everything.

My other book, An Adventure With Dada: Escape From Hell, is in trouble. 37 days, and 164 orders to go.

Dada needs your help!

As I have said, once 100 orders are achieved, I will release the ENTIRE FIRST DRAFT TO READ. Yup! That’s gonna happen. You can read the book after investing just a little bit of money, and then everyone can decide, based upon the entire book, whether or not the rest is worth funding. I’m that happy with this little dark comedy inspired by parenthood.

Also...

I’m announcing my FIRST EVER CONTEST!

Once, not if, everyone pulls their weight around An Adventure With Dada, and the book passes 250 preorders and Quill status, I will put everyone’s name who helped get the book where it is into a drawing to win this nice, fully functional 1960’s Smith Corona Typewriter. I’m in the process of polishing, cleaning, and oiling it:

It’s one of those amazing portable typewriters that comes in its own suitcase. It works 100% and I’ve replaced the ribbon and will get it professionally restored. These things go for $150 easily when they’re in good condition like this. Plus, you can take it anywhere to write, as it is purely mechanical, no electricity needed.

Once Dada funds, I will put everyone’s name into a drawing to win this wonderful piece of history. I will ship it anywhere. In order to get your name into the drawing, you must do one or more of the following:

1. Preorder An Adventure With Dada
2. Write a review for An Adventure With Dada
3. Recommend An Adventure With Dada
4. Critique An Adventure With Dada

Each time you do any of the above, your name will be entered into the drawing. If you do all four items above, your name will go in four times, unless you also order multiple copies of An Adventure With Dada, in which case you will receive an additional entry for each copy you order. The drawing will not occur if the book does not make it to Quill. If that is the case, everyone’s money gets refunded anyway, so what’s the risk?

If you have already ordered or recommended the book, then you are already entered. Please let me know if you have any questions by sending me a direct message on here.

Thank you for all of your support! Let’s get An Adventure With Dada FUNDED!!!

Landon Trine liked an update for Electric Messiah - Lore of the Aos Sí

Greetings and Apologies to those of you who have received this twice!!

First off I want to thank you for following me! Secondly, I wanted to let you know that my draft, The Damnation of Man, is nearing the end of the drafting phase and by the end of July will be taking pre-orders on Inkshares! The Damnation of Man is the first in the Lore of the Aos Sí Series so if you like the premise for Electric Messiah, hop on over and check it out.  Publishing this book is something I’ve been working on for nearly five years now, and with your help, it can happen. In the meantime, I invite you to follow the book, give feedback, reviews, and recommendations where you see fit! I would greatly appreciate any support you lend to the campaign to publish this story, and will reciprocate in any way that I am able!

Here’s the link to the book:

    https://www.inkshares.com/books/the-damnation-of-man-lore-of-the-aos-s-

The Damnation of Man is part one of the Lore of the Aos Sí Series. It is a tale of the untold past of mankind. Mankind was once a citizen of a mythical world where magic and science were two sides of the same coin. Where the destiny of our ancestors was forged by the righteousness of some men, and thwarted by the sins of others. It is the tale of humanity at its best and all time worst.

    I’d love your support!

    Cheers!

      Six letters ended the world.

We didn’t realize it at the time, swept away in our excitement of advancing technology and endless possibilities. We failed to predict all that would follow. Perhaps they wouldn’t have made the same mistakes. Perhaps they would have been more cautious. Perhaps not. History cares not for your regrets, pays no heed to your guilt. History’s purpose is not the past but the future.

It started with CRISPR: Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Re. . .
