The Beta readers have been contacted for Mr. Butler!
For those of you not down with the lingo, beta readers read an initial draft of the book and give feedback for edits for the final manuscript submission. I have a great crew aboard, four strong thus far. But if you have any interest in being a beta reader for Mr. Butler, then speak up now and send me a direct message on Inkshares!
I’m very proud of how this story has blossomed. I rewrote a lot of it, and it’s all for the better. I haven’t changed the bare bones of the story, so don’t panic. It’s still the same basic idea that you funded. But it’s better now.
Thank you for your patience and support. I’m looking to submit the final manuscript to Inkshares in late August/early September. I plan on the wait being well worth it. Thank you for everything.
Dada needs your help!
As I have said, once 100 orders are achieved, I will release the ENTIRE FIRST DRAFT TO READ. Yup! That’s gonna happen. You can read the book after investing just a little bit of money, and then everyone can decide, based upon the entire book, whether or not the rest is worth funding. I’m that happy with this little dark comedy inspired by parenthood.

I’m announcing my FIRST EVER CONTEST!
Once, not if, everyone pulls their weight around An Adventure With Dada, and the book passes 250 preorders and Quill status, I will put everyone’s name who helped get the book where it is into a drawing to win this nice, fully functional 1960’s Smith Corona Typewriter. I’m in the process of polishing, cleaning, and oiling it:
It’s one of those amazing portable typewriters that comes in its own suitcase. It works 100% and I’ve replaced the ribbon and will get it professionally restored. These things go for $150 easily when they’re in good condition like this. Plus, you can take it anywhere to write, as it is purely mechanical, no electricity needed.
Once Dada funds, I will put everyone’s name into a drawing to win this wonderful piece of history. I will ship it anywhere. In order to get your name into the drawing, you must do one or more of the following:
Each time you do any of the above, your name will be entered into the drawing. If you do all four items above, your name will go in four times, unless you also order multiple copies of
An Adventure With Dada, in which case you will receive an additional entry for each copy you order. The drawing will not occur if the book does not make it to Quill. If that is the case, everyone’s money gets refunded anyway, so what’s the risk?
If you have already ordered or recommended the book, then you are already entered. Please let me know if you have any questions by sending me a direct message on here.
