Scott Early liked an update for The Madness of Mr. Butler

Just a quick update to let you all know that I am still working quite hard on Mr. Butler. I enrolled in Camp NaNoWriMo for July and set a goal of writing 70,000 words for the book in 31 days...and I did it in 30:

All 70,024 (and counting!) words were written for Butler. Every day I’m working to make this the best damn book I can make it.

Just thought you, my wonderful investors, my support system, and most importantly, my friends, should know that I am giving this project every single spare moment I have. I’m still aiming for a September manuscript submission. I will keep you updated!

Thanks for hanging in there!

Love to all.

-Michael.

Scott Early liked an update for It’s All Fun and Games

    OMG 3 days left!

Hi everyone!  Quick Saturday night post before I go to bed.

    1) Comic Con was awesome.  Met some great people, ate some great food, saw some great costumes, didn’t blow the royalties bank on souvenirs.  If you’d like to read more about my experiences out there, check out my blog post.

    2) If you are local to Maine, you will be able to see a review of It’s All Fun and Games on "The 207" on Monday evening on your local NBC station (in Portland and Bangor).  I believe it airs in the 7pm slot in both cities.  I also had a great interview with John Holyoke at the BDN, so there should be a review/interview coming out in the next several days from them as well.

    3) All backers should have by now received your book(s).  If you haven’t gotten yours yet, please email hello@inkshares.com.  The lovely folks out in Oakland will be happy to get things sorted out for you.  If you’ve read it (and liked it), the best way to tell me is to head over to Amazon and leave a review.  It doesn’t have to be long, or coherent, or even in English.  Even people shopping at their Friendly Local Bookstore (which I absolutely encourage!) check Amazon ratings before buying, so please take a minute or two and leave me a review.

For what it’s worth, if you’ve read it (and didn’t like it) the best way to tell me is to never tell me.

So that’s the news from here.  I’ll have more to say in a few days.  In the meanwhile, enjoy the rest of the weekend, and read a book!

    Thanks for all your support
    Dave

Scott Early liked an update for Tantalus Depths

Tantalus Depths has stumbled upon one of the best support bases I could have hoped for. Thanks to you all, we’ve passed the 600 pre-order mark and are soaring on our way to that final goal. As thanks to you for getting us this far, the first three chapters of Tantalus Depths are now uploaded on Inkshares. If you’d like to read them, here’s a quick link to each:
      Chapter 1
      Chapter 2
      Chapter 3
If you missed my video of me reading chapter one, check that out here if it interests you. I’ve just uploaded a reading of chapter 2 as well, chapter 3 to be forthcoming in the near future.

Keep bringing in the support! We’re only a little over two weeks away from the end of the campaign, and have a fair amount of ground left to cover. But we can, and will, get there.

          Hey Campers!

I just posted Chapter 7, and now you can listen to me read Chapter 1!
Head here, if you want to hear me read to you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCeu_He-fho

Right now we are at 157 preorders, WHICH IS AWESOME! Thank you! I was honestly worried I wouldn’t sell any books.

          I NEED YOUR HELP!
Please help me by getting your friends to preorder the book too! If we can get this thing to 250 or even 750 preorders, I will be able to reach a lot of people.

I CAN’T DO THIS ON MY OWN!

Anyway, enough the CAPS, you get it. I need your help.

I appreciate all of you so much. The fact that you took the time to preorder my book, and that you want to read something I wrote means so much to me!

Please help me extend my reach even further. Personalized messages to people you think might be interested in this type of story work best.

          Thanks again! Enjoy chapter 7!
