I hope the week is treating you wondrously. I have uploaded chapter 11 of Dirt Face at https://www.inkshares.com/books/dirt-face. If you have not read any chapters up until this point this is the chapter you need to read.
Chapter 11 is action packed with sex, violence, and of course drug use. Our protagonist is put in a very vulnerable position that shapes the continued story. Events begin to unravel and this chapter is just the beginning.

"I still don’t know her name but her body is in love with me. We make love as if it’s our last night alive. Lying naked, we gaze into each other’s eyes, briefly accepting every secret and imperfection as we drift asleep together."
"THUNK Ting! A-a-a-a-a-h-h-h-h, a high-pitched scream shook my consciousness awake as I felt a dull pain fill my head and glass shower down upon my body. I jump up surrounded by five young individuals’ possibly 18 years old a few appear younger. My attention quickly jumps to the screaming naked girl sitting on my bed."
"Exhausted and sore I sweep away the glass and lay down on the blood stained bed. I stare at the ceiling until it leaves my focus, a blurry background to the night’s memories playing out like a savage movie. A crime scene becomes my cradle."

The Seventh Aspect is now an Inkshares staff pick! It’s also received a recommendation from none other than our fearless leader, and Inkshares CEO Jeremy Thomas! (I certainly didn’t see that one coming). To say I am humbled and grateful is an understatement.
I’d just finished another big round of edits on the posted chapters right before he sent his recommendation. So keeping your drafts updated and improved pays, folks. You never know who is lurking.
In honor of this fun occasion:
1. I have a long professional history in showbiz, so I’m a sucker for dream casts. I’ve decided to share my dream cast for the main characters in chapters 1 and 2. Here’s the kicker: I’m not posting their character names. So that means you’ll have to read to figure out who’s who.
2. There’s a reference to an infamous 70’s horror film in chapter 1. Our main extraterrestrial character has a thing for human sci-fi and horror media. So bonus points if you catch it and know what it is. It’s funny, I promise. Similar funky references will be sprinkled throughout the story.
Two more chapters are on the way. You’ll get to meet more of our alien researchers, and maybe even travel to another dimension. Mmmm....dimensions....
