As I understand it, we all get an ebook-only option. It’s set at $10 for the campaign (which I suspect would end up being more expensive than your ebook) because it’s investing in the cost of producing the novella.

Matt Sobin wrote a novella which is now in production, and his ebook is $3.99.

I think whenever you switch over to funding, the ebook and print options will appear just as they appear on every other funding campaign. Hope that helps!

At the funding stage, the ebook price is set at 50% of the printed book price. If you choose the hardcover option, the print book will be set at $30 and the ebook would be set at $15 ... even though the ebooks do not actually differ between the hardcover and paperback options.

I’m working on a novella of 15k words, but the lowest price I can get preorders to seems to be $20, which I feel is asking way too much.
While a print version would be nice, I feel that it would always be too expensive for that format, especially if PoD.
Is there no option to do an ebook only version for shorter works like that?

It’s the year 2147: a time of enduring peace on Earth. The Last War ended half a century ago. We can cure most ills, the air is pure, and teleportation is how we get around. Sounds great, right? So why does everyone suddenly want to kill Joel Byram?
