Hello everyone! Happy Friday!

So… I know… once again a lack of updates. Sadly, I had a lot of really bad personal stuff happen all at once, so my writing sort of went to the wayside… With the holidays almost over, though, and things settling down in my personal life, hopeful I can get back to campaigning. I need to take a page from Tony Valdez's book, because he is really good at it! Go check out his book (Dax Sheppard)… He is so close to meeting his goal and his book is pretty awesome (as a personal friend of his, I have basically read the whole thing and I loved it!)

So anyways, if you have not heard about the review-a-thon tomorrow, here is some info about it:

On December 19th, all authors and readers are invited to leave reviews on currently funding Inkshares books using the Inkshares "leave a review" option.

Throughout the day we'll be hanging out on Twitter in the #InksharesReviews tag as we share our favorite book projects, answer author Q&As, debate the merits of astronauts with swords versus cavemen with lasers, and more!

Then, from 3 - 5pm PST (6 - 8pm Eastern), JF Dubeau and Paul Inman of the WriteBrain Podcast will be hosting a video livestream filled with author interviews, review readings, and live announcements of prize winners!

Prizes?!?! Everyone who leaves a review on December 19th by 3pm PST (6pm Eastern) will be eligible to win one of our fantastic general prizes:

Hi! Apologies for updating three times in three weeks, but it's back to the forge after this one, so nothing new for a bit. I've got some massive surprises cooking up that may help me get into Quill on time, so I look forward to when I can talk about that a bit more. Let's do this thang.

1: I bought / supported some books that I recommend over the last week!

Byron Gillan's projects "Children of the Forest" and "The Darkest Places."

Tony Valdez's (No relation, hehe) "Dax Harrison."

Listen... for seriously, BUY DAX HARRISON! Tony's got eight friggin' fraggin' days left and not too many pre-orders remaining. Use cash, credits, credit, throw your first born at your monitor, whatever! (Not the last one, please goodness not the last one). Just buy this thing! He's so close I'm getting shaky on his behalf.

2: Wow. Taking some time off from writing is weird since I literally get better every day even while obsessively thinking about it. Going back to polish the first three Inkshares-ready parts of Blurred Weaponry has been a trip. All I'm doing is adding spice, but it just feels so GOOD, y'all, to not have much to worry about story and only be adding touches of gleam. Is that a phrase? No? Okay, then, last but not least:

Hi everyone and happy Friday evening! I hope yours is going swell, whether you're waiting in line for Star Wars or hanging at home in your PJs.

DAX COUNTDOWN: 8 days remaining, 38 orders to publishing!!!

First off, another quick thank you to everyone (as always). The support from friends, family and my fellow authors has grown even more as the deadline approaches. It's wonderful. You're all wonderful. I am a puddle of fuzzy feelings.

...*ahem* I mean, um, manly. Very manly feelings of appreciation. *hearty handshake*

Now, a couple details I forgot to mention about tomorrow's Review-A-Thon event:

What's on the schedule? Live author interviews, Q & A's, AND (here's the part I forgot to mention before): A live reading from the original screenplay/first draft of DAX HARRISON!

Yes! We are going to read through an action-and-goofs-packed scene from the book! Naturally, we have not rehearsed this in the slightest, and it is sure to be ridiculous, nonsensical, and plenty of fun. Don't miss it!
