Matthew Isaac Sobin liked an update for She Is the End
Hi everyone!

I'm fine! Everything's under control, situation normal! We're - we're all fine here! How are you?

Boring conversation, anyway!

The 2word & La2er contest is almost over, and do I have some recommendations for you? DO I???

First of all, you'd better go buy Deus Hex Machina by Amanda Orneck immediately.

I get to cameo in the book (AHH) and I'm also illustrating a page of the graphic novel for Amanda...

And YOU could win an original ink drawing of one of the panels. Just be one of the next ten people to pre-order her book, and you'll be in the running to win the original final ink drawing that will be based on this sketch:

So order!

Secondly, LISTEN. You need to know about Transilience by Kevin Bragg.

Transilience is a delightful concept that will probably (hopefully) be a movie someday. A scifi noir tale about a private investigator unraveling corruption and fighting for his life... on Mars? Heck yes!

I checked in with author Kevin Bragg and now I'm super-excited about the variety of interesting women who play complex roles in his book. This isn't noir stuck in the past... this is future noir!

As for She Is the End, well, Alex and I are working on it. It's going to be good.

I promise.

Happy Museday!

    Thank You!!!

As of bedtime-o'clock last night, Seven Shards has hit the Quill funding goal! This means it will be published!!!!!!!!

The little bundle of nerves that has been sitting in the pit of my stomach since August has now transformed into a miniature fireworks show. And not one of those blink-and-you-miss-it fireworks shows, but a fully choreographed, big-budget fireworks extravaganza. Coffee? Haha, who needs it!

I must extend my deepest gratitude to the members of the CEO Syndicate and John Robin's Epic Fantasy Syndicate for pushing Seven Shards over the edge. You (you beautiful people, you) surprised me and humble me and basically make me much more than a little verklempt.

There's probably more I could say, but right now the bottom line is Thank YOU!

Matthew Isaac Sobin liked an update for Lies and Deception

      Good morning everyone,

Lies and Deception is now at 99 copies pre ordered. wow that is amazing !!!

We are also at 3 readers away from our first raffle ; a 50 $ gift card of the winners choice. I cannot say how much I am happy right now, of course I will not win the Sword and Laser contest but I am getting one step closer to Quill.

I am doing this book, as I always wanted to write a good story and also want to prove to my children that you can achieve anything if you work hard and believe in yourself. When they will be older and I will be an aged man they will be able to say here is the book my father wrote... one book, maybe more.

Again if you like what I am doing, please recommend to your friend and family.

thank you once more from my children and I :)

Matthew Isaac Sobin liked an update for Deus Hex Machina

Today's update is a short one. I just wanted to remind those that are following the book that there are three days left in the Sword & Laser the Sequel contest, and Deus Hex Machina is only three people away from 6th place. Only ONE order away from our next giveaway!  Gah! I want to give away a book today! Can we do that please??

I'm still plugging along on chapter 2 (very slowly as I'm not seeing much interest on the preorder side for me to rush on it. That very well could change though, in an instant. After all, there are books out there that are selling 100s of copies in a DAY. Seriously, preorder this book nao. Dot com. Might as well see if she can fund in a week. That would be amazing.

I am still holding out hope that those that are following the book are interested enough to take the plunge and preorder it today. If you do, we just might get this book published. Isidore and Dax are in your hands now. Treat them well.

Matthew Isaac Sobin liked an update for The Problem with Prophecy

Just a quick reminder that there are only a few days left in the second Sword & Laser Collection Contest. If you are thinking of supporting one of these fine science fiction or fantasy projects, now is the time.I honestly didn't think I would win, but I did achieve my more humble goal of not finishing in last place. You can find all the selections including (*ahem*cough*cough*) mine at https://www.inkshares.com/contests/the-sword-laser-collection-contest-the-sequel/submissions.

Also, sorry but no new chapter this week as I am working on other deadlines. The funding period for this project will continue until March 3rd, and I will have some more content up before then either here or on my blog at seansandulak.com. Thanks for reading.

Don't stress grammatical errors, especially when they are minor. In my experience, most readers of your draft will glaze right past them without a thought. The content is king.
