Rick Heinz liked the forum thread, Bulletin blog post and review offer
Just posted this on another thread, but thought I’d broaden the availability.

I have a review blog, ouratomictomorrow.com, and will offer to help Inkshares authors in two ways.  First, I can do a bulletin-style post name checking projects that look worth a look.  Follow me and DM if you’d like to be included.

Second, I pick my books to review off of three book lists.  If you have a completed book and would like to be considered for a full review, go to my site, click one of the pic links under "Review Policy" in the sidebar and sign up.  It’s not free, but you’ll have a whole community of reviewers you can ask to promote your work.  Once you’re on the list, fill out my Review Request form (DM if you can’t find the link) and if I think it’s a match, I’ll put you on the list.  To date I’ve not turned anyone down.

Note that I’m currently reading a mainstream title, which I do from time to time at my discretion, and there are a few reviews still in the pipeline, so turnaround will take a couple months.  Meantime, I’ll still put you in the bulletin.

Thanks for reading!

Rick Heinz liked an update for I Am Waltz

    Hello Friends...

Some milestones to talk about! I Am Waltz is now past the 50% mark of the Quill Goal! For those who don’t know the Quill Goal of 250 pre-orders guarantees publication online through ebook and paperback.

We still have a bit to go to reach 750 and get the book in retail book stores nationally, so please if you have not done so yet I am asking all of you to order today.

Additionally, I have made a video explaining the book and what needs to be done to get it published. Please share the video after you pre-order with your friends and family on social media.

Click HERE to view the video!

Thank you ALL for the support and for ordering I Am Waltz. I can not wait for you all to read it!

Rick Heinz liked an update for Mission 51

      To Authors in Draft Mode:

I am now following a number of projects in draft mode, and am being followed by a number of "draftees" in turn. So I thought I’d provide some unsolicited advice and make an unrequested suggestion. :-)

      1. Draft mode is a good idea. It is a time to generate interest in your project and to refine it as much as possible. At some point, you will flip the switch from Draft Mode to Funding Mode, but before you do, consider this:

      2. It is best if your book is complete or nearly complete. People prefer to spend money on a tangible thing, a done deal, like a finished book. If your story is not yet finished, their money is not going towards a tangible thing, but rather is an investment in a person, the author, and in a promise that a good book is coming.

      3. Be willing to invest money in your own project. The number one most important thing to invest in, IMO, is on a professional-looking book cover. Get it done before you flip the Funding switch.

      4. Spend your time in Draft Mode smartly. Read as many other projects as you can and take the time to leave a Review. Not a recommendation, but a Review. These are greatly appreciated by all authors. Your name will be seen by everyone visiting that project page from that point forward. You will earn a reputation as a supporter, and you will be rewarded when you do start Funding.

      5. Finally, consider my unrequested suggestion: When you do start Funding, you will want pre-orders, reviews, recommendations, comments, and such. - While you are in draft mode, invest in my book, Mission 51. In return, when you do start funding, I will not only pre-order yours, but I will provide a review or recommendation. I will do it early in your funding campaign. I think that is a good investment/deal. If you are in draft mode and decide to take me up on this, just send me a DM when you do start funding.

      Peace and love to all!

      Ferd. :-)

Rick Heinz sent an update for The Seventh Age: Dawn

Greetings! Continuing in the theme of my vampire post a few weeks back, I’m going to bring you some Western Esotericism today.

Magical occultism that was highly popular during the early nineteenth century and the driving force behind the magical rules system in the world of The Seventh Age.

Don’t worry. I’m only going to give you 3 fun facts about it.

        1. L.W. Delaurence (1868-1938) was one of the great tricksters who preyed on the rich. Conning publishing houses into printing books with his name listed as the author and selling door to door pamphlets on hypnotism. Curiously, he founded a Chicago occult society called "The Order of the Black Rose" which worshiped a cigar store Indian.  This allowed him to smuggle in occult supplies for US shipping from Jamaica. Without tax evasion, many hoodoo and other poor occult sects would of died off.
        2. If you want a masters degree in Hermetisicm, regarded as one of the highest arcane spell casting and sorceries in the world, you need only go to the University of Amsterdamn. As of 2008 they offer official programs.
        3. Occultism and the rich have always had a love affair. Their parties and association with Freemasons, The Order of the Golden Dawn, and other bodies continue to this day. But one of the most infamous is the 1972 Rothschild Party. I’ve attached some pictures for you.

        Illuminati Ball 1

        Illuminati Ball 2

Illuminati Ball 3.... this is the table setting!?

Inspiration for The Seventh Age is taken heavily from these occult societies and their oddities in the shadows. A future update will focus on the other side of the fence: The anarchists.
